I am convinced that some folks do not know what good quality Jamaican food tastes like. I went here based off the stars of this restaurant and boy was I fooled! The food here is definitely hyped up! First off, I noticed there was not much traffic and I learned why....the rice was old and dry, it has some potential flavor-wise but if you've been eating real Jamaican food you would know when that Rice ain't right. This place do not serve full chicken pieces they serve chicken parts. It seemed to be leg and thigh chopped up into four pieces because the chicken pieces was so small..they think they slick with this to make it look like you getting alot but in actuality it still wont equal a full leg n thigh even for a medium that I ordered. I got the brown stew chicken which was disgusting. The flavor was not there and the chicken was not up to standards to even be considered brown stew. Something was definitely off with this place. The festival taste like foil or whatever they store in. The prices do not match the portion sizes nor is the authentic flavor present. My son got the steak and he said it was just all right but very stingy with the portions. We will not be returning here as the food is not up to par. Money went down the drain with this one. I don't even see how they got five stars but ok.... When I mentioned this place to others recently they agreed stating the food there is not good even Under...
Read moreI ordered a meal from here and had a mix up with my order. The food was delicious but the mix up with the order frustrated me (I’m a big gyal, I get overly invested in my food 😭)
Well the owners went out of their way to kindly explain the situation and to make things right.
I can tell they care by the way the food is tender, flavorful, and authentic in the Caribbean tastes and seasonings. But the caring really also shined in the way the customer service took time to go above and beyond to rectify the minor mix up.
Highly recommend this restaurant, the oxtail meal...

The oxtails were tender, meaty, and delicious. The chicken jerk, is the GOAT. If you haven't tried their food, you are missing out! Just go now, and...
