Long history of HORRIBLE service! Many years ago I would order from this location while at work. Often times I found they would not provide utensils for eating food despite requesting them. Then I reached out, I was told this is the most busy location and it is unreasonable to expect them to always get it right. So I stopped ordering.
Recently I have tried them again they still do not take care to bring all the requested items with your food. Despite having an option to order utensils - they rarely provide them. Several times recently, I have ordered and not received what I requested.
I provided feedback and Vinnie responded "hope you enjoyed your meal" and a rude response expressing their displeasure that I provided them feedback.
I was told I am entitled because I am upset about not receiving something they offer for free. While it may be trival to Vinnie - when I am dressed up at work at eating messy food like pizza and wings, I like silverware to avoid messy hands and making a mess of dress clothes. If Vinnie feels silverware being requested makes a customer entitled, maybe don't make those items available for the customer to request.
After 15 years in Rochester, I have deleted my salvatores account. I am sure they dont care and have plenty of other customers, so losing 1 is not big deal. But I will not pay this company another dime based on how this complaint was handled. Hopefully they rethink their customer service strategy and consider putting the customer, and their experience, over the experience Salvatore's thinks the customer...

Terrible customer service. Was still missing multiple items 2 hours and multiple phone calls after ordering. The manager Alan from Mt. Read location only offered a credit towards a future purchase that barely covered the cost of the missing items.
Had I not followed up, I would have still been waiting up for a delivery they told me was "already out the door" from a shop located 12 min from my house. When instead, on my 3rd phone call Alan says "one of his girls was supposed to call me" to let me know they weren't making the delivery and to instead offer a credit (not a refund!!!) because of the missing items. No one called. I paid for the entire order and never received 2 of the items.
We certainly don't need a credit Bc we won't be ordering from them again. This isn't the first issue we have had with this location- but now I'm realizing company-wide, they have absolutely no idea what customer service means. There's no way to contact their corporate office except online and no one every replies to those.
I'm still owed a REFUND for the items I never received. And instead of replying to any of my complaints, Salavatores instead is ignoring and blocking me on...
Read moreThis place is terrible. I tried calling for 30 min just getting a busy signal. After I finally got thru the most ghetto sounding unprofessional girl answers and tells me I can't order a side of beans or add shaved steak on my garbage plate. OK I could probably put all this aside except the employee rudely interrupted me in the middle of the order to "tell me" to talk to who manager who happened to be even more obnoxious and ignorant than her subordinate. After again telling me I couldn't order this or they were out of that I finally complete my order. I'm then told it would be 2 hours until I get my food. I reluctantly agree. After a moment or two of pondering I called back and canceled my order. I then proceed to call a different take out restaurant and get my plates for half the price a quarter of the time and from sum guys that honestly know how to treat customers (coliseum pizza ). You'd think the ordeal was over after I received my plate from this other restaurant, ate it, and was in the process of TRYING to fall asleep. But No! Salvatore was so thirsty for my money that one of these ignorant people called me back waking me up just to inform me they knew I canceled my order but that they still made the food any way and asked if I still wanted the food. This place is terrible and I for one will never call this...
