Ting's Diner — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Worst service ever!!! On several occasions (4) I have visited this diner and it never fails, every time there is a problem with my order. After giving very specific instructions, I ordered the shrimp and grits and my shrimp comes on top of my eggs ( not the grits) like WTH !! This is not the first time that this has been done and this is the reason why I gave very specific instructions. After calling the restaurant and expressing my complaint the nonchalantness was beyond me. Let's just say, they are too busy to get anything right. Not only have they lost my service but I will be sure to let everyone I know to not eat there !!! Signed, Catering...

This was my first time trying this diner while visiting in town. I picked up food for myself and my son. He had bacon, pancakes, and eggs, and he really enjoyed his meal. Unfortunately, my experience was very different.

I ordered the haddock fish with scrambled eggs and cheese, grits, and a side of home fries. The fish did not seem like haddock at all—it looked more like whiting and was either fake or extremely overcooked. Even my dog struggled to eat it. The rest of the food was not much better, and after eating only a small portion, I was left with a stomach ache and feeling nauseous

If I could give the food zero stars, I would. Very...

The food was okay, a little costlier than the diner we usually frequent. We ordered 2 breakfast meals: the first consisted of toast with eggs, fries and sausage, the other meal consisted of shrimps with grits and eggs. The food was tasty but the presentation could be better. The fries looked like a big potato that had been thrown against a wall and then some parts of it cut haphazardly. Coffee is not unlimited. The place also looked very cluttered. It didn’t feel spacious at all. The diner could be better if some of the furniture and the clutter arranged for a better presentation...
