Off Center Tavern & Grill — Restaurant in Clara City

Cute little bar and grill. We thought we'd give the local establishment a try. Service was good but the the food was not good at all. My western burger was so dark and over done it makes me think it wasn't fresh and the bun was one of the cheap ones from a grocery store and one that I would put in bread pudding or feed the birds with, hard around the edges. Hubby had a hamburger steak that was so over cooked that he had trouble cutting it. We both had onion "Petals" a few but not a large amount on either plate. Together our bill was $42 but wait, if we used our debit card, we got charged $2 more! Plates were fairly large and looked kind of empty with a few onion petals and a very small hamburger and a couple of pickles. Same with the hamburger steak. Would never go back. Wow! I was here 4 days ago and my boyfriend and I are thinking about the sandwiches we had! They were fantastic, even left over. I forgot to take photos, but I got a chicken strip melt and he got what seemed to be a Ruben but with chicken strip as well. We both loved the food.
