Robin's Nest Cafe — Restaurant in Clarinda

Went to this restaurant for lunch today at noon and was greatly disappointed. Food was ok but service was very poor. I don’t mind paying fair prices for dining out, but expect waiters to check to see if all is ok at least one time and refill drinks at least once. Waited a while to be seated. They didn’t take our order for 30 minutes. Then when they did, a breakfast cafe, ran out of biscuits and gravy. As we waited we watched people who came in after us get their order taken and get their food before we even ordered ours. Going on an hour and we still don’t have food. Worst service and experience! And the coffee...

We have been there a lot to eat, normally the food is great and service is good. But today there were very busy and didn't open the back room so front rm was very full. Didn't get what we ordered a tenderloin, and what we did get was a cold beef with mashed potatoes and gravy wasn't even hot. Maybe it was just an off day for them. Hopefully next time...
