Made the trip to Clarksville just for Grant's Bar-B-Que. Quick, attentive, courteous service. Order at window & take away. It's a Mobile Caterer trailer, nested in a huge gravel lot w/outdoor picnic tables (2 of 3 are covered) on north side of US 82 at TX 37 N. Don't need additional amenities - the BBQ is so d*&% good! • Dad & I got 3 "Chopped Brisket Sandwiches." Moderately priced (≈ $21.⁰⁰), but the aroma, tenderness, & taste made the cost of this meal of NO effect. Smelled so good on the way home, nearly drove me crazy. Oooh... every bite was drool-ishous. • Had to fight Dad for the pickles • Enjoyed most? Was close to closing, so she comped us some white cake w/coconut icing. OMG. The messy oo-ey, gooey stuff, I'd go back just for more desert. • Facebook says call-ins welcome • Several specialties but the customer in front of me was partial to the "Hot Mess" (BBQ Frito Pie) & "Stuffed Potato." May try next time, ‘cause I...

We were going to go camping in Broken Bow for about a week the other day and got up there and turned around because of the weather and stopped by Grants in Clarksville on the way back home. Never been there before. Took it home and went back up to Broken Bow the next day and stayed several days. Our first experience was so good at Grants that we stopped by on the way BACK home and got some more. Very good stuff. We got sliced bbq, BBQ sandwiches and BBQ turkey. It was all so good. We will be a regular customer from now on. Looking forward to them getting in their...

We often go to Hochatown OK and pass this all the time. We decided to give it a try . We were not a fan. Sausage was like fake sausage. You can easily get better at the grocery store. Brisket - if you were blind folded, you would never know your eating brisket, it was a bland piece of meat. BBQ sauce was water. Coors light tasted as if it was expired. Coleslaw, potato salad wasnt bad. Order taker lady seem like the "soup nazi" . You better be ready. The lady giving you your order was very, very nice. We ate in, place was very clean,...

Update 09/24/2022: We dropped in this evening to try the new indoor dining facilities. The Q is still great, but now there is also cold A/C & cold beer! Loving the new place, once the weather cools down a little bit it will be awesome to see the windows/overhead doors raised up with people dining at the bar. Great smoked BBQ, we had a stuffed potato & a sliced beef sandwich with potato salad. For desert we had hot plum cobbler & a cup of BlueBell ice cream. Great food, make sure that you get there early to guarantee getting some desert.

I stopped in Clarksville TX to renew my TX driver license and asked the DPS staff where the best place was in town for lunch and Grant’s Bar-b-que was the immediate answer. My brisket sandwich at Grant’s was awesome, the beef was perfectly prepared and practically melted in the mouth. No need for sauce on this dreamy lunch! The beans and mac and cheese were very tasty sides. Wonderful visit. Thank you for the outstanding meal!

First off very nice people here and the potato salad is awesome. The sliced brisket was terrible. It was dry and tasteless without the bbq sauce. Brisket was severely overcooked and same for the corn. The corn smelled snd looked like it came out of a dumpster. Ended up throwing the plate in the trash.
