#2 So this weekend we back to Pbodys w/ some friends from out of state. I like to be a good host & figured we should go here so we can chit chat but also enjoy a variety of food. This time we had Ms/Mrs Shannon (not sure of the spelling because there are millions of ways to spell names, mine included). We did get to chat w/ Ms/Mrs Donna, Im very social. We spoke with the Mrs of Pbodys as well & were even thanked for my previous review (anytime). My friends were like 'what'd you do' & my response was I ate.
Anyway, so for starters the strawberry margaritas were delicious & on the strong side. The ranch seasoned chips were great, we like to dip ours in the house-made ranch. We also got the onion rings (huge!) and mozzarella stix. Those had to be the cheeseiest I've ever had. I even did a cheese pull and it didn't fall apart or pull the inside out, it just stretched. I really should've ordered a 2nd plate of mozz stix.
So we eventually remembered we needed to order an actual lunch & I ordered the ribs with sweet tater fries (yuuuuuuum) & sauces : sweet bbq & white bbq. I really enjoyed my meal. I ate half there and the rest sometime that night with the bbq sauces, I got some to-go.
My husband had the THREE LITTLE PIGS burger, it looked really good. He of course demolished it. He knew the other burger that had 51/50 and ghost pepper would be too much for him.
One friend had the Club sammich, always a hit, with broccoli and cole slaw. She really liked the broc lol. The other friend ordered the Half rack ribs, with 51/50 (we both tried the sauce and while spicy its tasty), burnt ends and & mac and cheese. He was stuffed but really liked the burnt ends (my recommendation based on other customers) and ate the ribs later too.
All in all, the loved it which makes me happy: Thanks again!
#1 Last night my husband and I had a great double date night with our friends. None of us have ever been to Pbody's and I personally have been trying to find the time all month. I kept saying its on the other side of town (30mins) but I can tell it'll be worth the drive.
We finally go and this is how it went. Drive wasn't bad at all. It was easy to find, dark nice neighborhood entrance but still easily found, google maps already had the correct 📍 . We pull up, there's alot of cars but jus as many leaving. We walk in following the hallway, you can see the dining as you pass. We were told there may be a 20min wait, not even 3mins later we were seated.
I loved the chairs and table, I hate plastic tables. Also I really liked the setup, it reminded me if when I was a server. We had Ms/Mrs Donna as a server and we mentioned how we excited we were but hadn't dined here before she gave us the most thorough summary of the menu based on customers preferences. And I mean a whole run down.
So we ordered: buffalo shrimp, fried green tomatoes, ceasar salad, and cajun pork rinds to share. Let me go back and say the house potato chips we ate before this..with the ranch seasoning..AMAZING. We ate 2 baskets and honestly by the end of the night we were all so mad that we forgot to order more or to go.
The buffalo shrimp were delicious and huge. I ate all the pork rinds with the house made ranch. Thats the best ranch I've ever had. Entrees we had are pictured below because I forgot the names but as you can see the portions were huge and tasty. There wasn't a thing we didn't like.
I really enjoyed my fried shrimp. We eventually had the fried banana pudding and that was tasty too! I woke up thinkin about the fried catfish that could've been. This was the best dining experience we've all had in a while.
Oh! I forgot to mention: while we were eating I ordered a sweet tea, which was great, so great I said Im gonna drink this with some Apple Crown Royal later. I went to the bathroom and came back, Ms/Mrs Donna had placed 4 sweet teas, no ice in to go cups for us. 😁 and thats how I finished...
Read more1/3/24 - WOW how things have changed - Nothing that I use to eat here is still on the menu - Seems like EVERYTHING now is Flame Grilled with a Ton of Smoke Flavor which I do not care for & never have! Also unless told not to add salt, everything it overseasoned! Was here for a meeting & asked to be seated in the main dining room with the windows & fireplace & was told that wasn't a problem because over half that room was empty-than once again was taken into the enclosed room at a table where everyone was elbow to elbow! The waitress Sharon that does this room is Rude & Doesn't pay attention to what she is being told for ordering & the way the checks were to be split! Plus she snapped at a young gentleman that brought our food out cause he put it on a stand she didn't want it to be on! We use to love this place, but So Very Very Disappointed this time! 1st time here & OMG wished we would of found this place sooner!!! Beautiful Clubhouse & the Cozy Dining Room overlooked the Golf Course! Shelves filled with Nostalgia from when we grew up from E.T., Mr.T, Star Wars, down to the Gopher from Caddy Shack, Signed Dallas Cowboy stuff & much more! The Ladies working were Very Polite, Friendly & Welcoming, which is a Huge Plus for us because of the not so great customer service we get at other eateries in & around Clarksville! I got the Elk Sliders & Fries & my husband got the Burnt Ends with the Spicy Mama Sauce, Fries & Coleslaw! I asked for mine Well Done & it was Perfect (wasn't at all dry) had a Great Taste & Not Gamey! The Burnt Ends pretty much fell apart as soon as he touched them, I'll hear about how Good they were for Weeks! We have been looking for somewhere close to go for our 30th Wedding Anniversary next month & I think we found our place! They have alot of other stuff to choose from-Steaks, Ribs, Sandwiches (or Samachies as they call them), Buffalo & Red Deer Sliders, Etc... Definitely come check this place out! You Won't Be...
Read moreGoing to P’Body’s is always an absolutely delicious and joyful experience. We discovered P’Body’s from a local food review page and on a whim decided to try it one day while running about town. Ever since then I don’t think more than 2 weeks have passed without a visit for lunch or dinner. The food is always great and such amazing portions! I personally like to order the grilled salmon knowing that I will order my 2 sides of Cesar salad or pasta salad (my personal new favorite!) and baked potato, then I can have my leftover salmon on an English muffin the next morning…so not only do I have a fantastic dinner, but I wake up excited for my breakfast to be the perfect way to start my day. My daughter is obsessed with the chicken and waffles, she calls them heaven. My son, who is a VERY picky eater, loves the gator bites!!! He orders the gator bites as his meal and not an appetizer so he doesn’t have to share. We have several food restrictions, due to medical conditions, in our family but they have always been very accommodating which we truly appreciate. The drinks are unique and there are so many choices. The sauces are fantastic and we can’t ever leave without buying sauces to go (Ranch, White BBQ, and P’Body’s BBQ). My favorite part is honestly the service. I love walking in and being greeted by name and with a smile. We typically have Shannon as our server and I can’t recommend her enough. She always remembers our preferences and food restrictions, and she always has recommendations on hand. When we have friends and family in from WI (where we are originally from) we bring them all to P’Body’s, and we bring them when we know Shannon will be our server, because of her knowledge and great recommendations, we know our guests will have a great experience with her service, her recommendations and the quality and experience of our meals. P’Body’s is such a fantastic staple of our...
