Update: 10/7/23. I went with a group at noon. We ate in the Patio. Service was great as far as seating, drinks, refills and taking our orders. Just bear in mind this is not a fast food restaurant. It took a little while for our food to get there. The weather was beautiful. The patio was comfortable. The fans were a bit loud and the traffic on Hwy 64 even more so. But the tables are these gorgeous long pieces of wood, and not as wide as a booth so we were able to hear each other or at least lipread. Food is good enough to make up for it. If you are getting any of their dishes with sides including the catfish Friday special and you want fries you have a choice of regular, sweet potato or Cajun! Portion sizes are good too. Next time I go I'm ordering the Chicken Waldorf Salad on a lettuce bed. I almost ordered it to go this time it looked so good.
You definately go there for the food. Everything I have had, seen and heard is its good. The people who work there are super nice also. The only reason I gave it a 4 is really the atmosphere. And I need to clarify from the beginning, I ate in the convince store section of Wrecked Canoe. While I was there I saw person after person exiting with bags of to-go containers. Clarksville does have door dash and maybe another one so even places that say they don't deliver have delivery available. Just ask when you call to place an order for pickup. To go is VERY BIG at Wrecked Canoe. There is also an actual restaurant/party room that I ate in once just because they were nice people and ask.the party going on in half the room if they would mind letting three people sit at a table in the far back of the other half. I am still frequently blown away by how nice almost everybody is around here. The tables in the small section of the convince store part are framed off up to shoulder height by wood which helps a little with sound control. If you are going to someplace to eat to have a conversation while relaxing, the sweet 4 chairs at a table are not going to be conducive to that. The ceilings are height, the walls hard and sound is amplified rather than absorbed. The prices we fair. There are items on the menu you don't see elsewhere. I guess if you are eating alone it's good. Phone reception was off today... look around and see if the weather is nice and you want to eat outside or... just don't expect a quite catch up...

Shannon is almost a celebrity in how friendly she is. Meet her once, and you will know her for life. Having a bad day? Hit her up for breakfast and she will make everything seem a little better.
Cassidy is a HARD worker. Last night with the ice and snow she ended up being the only waitress on a packed Karaoke night - but she still did her job with a smile and I watched her running around keeping drinks filled and making sure everyone had what they wanted and needed. Ya'll. Remember to tip your service workers! They never ask for it - but they deserve it!
Hailey manages the joint - and she does so like its her home. When you are there, she makes sure that you are having a great time and that you want to return.
Obviously there are a ton of other people servicing you, from kitchen staff to wait staff to the staff in the convenience store... There is a reason this is my families go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner... AND WEEKLY KARAOKE...
The food is GREAT and a great value! They have rotating daily specials and plate lunches that include a full meal and drink and are only $10. This is a sit down full service restaurant - and the food is cheaper than any you can get through a drive through.
The have Karaoke every Thursday night, ran by Alex and Shayna who run Eastside SoundWorks & Events (which is another local business you NEED to reach out to if you are throwing a wedding, party, or event).
We are very lucky to have these local businesses in Clarksville. Shop local, ya'll! The Wrecked Canoes owner lives in Clarksville. You will see him in the place helping make sure everything is running smoothly and just hanging out with customers. His kids work here after school. This is a local business! Support your neighbors!
If you can't tell... I go here often. It's a fantastic place. Try it. You...
Read moreStopped into Wrecked Canoe today for a quick lunch while on the road traveling. Cute place. The waitress was working alone I believe, so our visit was almost two hours long due to short staffing. There was only one other couple dining in, so not sure what was going on. We were able to get one person's drink refill after an hour only after asking. The other two people would've liked refills too, but finished their meals dry. The waitress just was not to be found. We ordered two salads and a cheesburger. Nothing fancy. They ran out of the salad dressing too and gave me half a small thing to coat a large salad. We were also upcharged $1.50 for avocado and mushrooms to salad, even though they're included in the salad ingredients list. This wouldn't have been an issue had the menu stated that. I'm attaching a menu photo. We waited to pay for almost 20 mins and then finally went and found the waitress. After explaining that the menu did not state upcharges and showing her we ordered exactly as menu stated, she refunded a dollar. She said they upcharge for all that even though menu doesn't say and even added bacon is upcharge for salad.. so be aware! Not great food. Terrible customer service. Would...
