Pine Hollow Golf Club — Restaurant in Clayton

Come to this course often but not no more. JC who sits behind the counter has given me what I feel like attitude every single time. I don't understand. I pay close to 60 bucks for attitude which which was witness by the group I was with. After the front 9 the Rangers wanted to give a hard time over the fact we had 5 (because the 4 some in front of us was playing 3 balls every tee box and taking their sweet time with everything else, so we paired up with the 2 people behind us making 5). Granted the 4 some paid their money just like we did and that is fine. But we were playing each hole pretty fast and was never once holding anyone up since we were playing scramble. Instead of listening to what we were explaining, we felt like the ranger could care less and just kept giving us a hard time throughout the course. I rather spend my money elsewhere. On google, this place business hours were 7-6 on Monday. However, when I arrived at 4:55, the club house was locked and light was out! I walked around to the other side of building and one of employees was saying “We close at 5 or CLOSE to 5 o’clock! And I am closed now so there is nothing I can do!”. All I want was a bucket of golf balls so I can go to driving range! I know it’s a local golf course so only members of this club know what really going on but I felt it wasn’t fair to reject their customer like this! I played Pine Hollow for the first time March 2023. Putting green was good. It accurately represented how greens rolled and broke. Driving range was good. Limited yardage. Clubhouse/pro-shop was nice. Grill had a good menu. I only got an easy hotdog at the turn. Course was in good shape. It is early spring and starting to become greener and fuller. Course design and layout is fun. Greens roll great!! They are consistent and challenging. Bunkers have consistent sand in them. Pace of play was great.
