Dump the big guy with the beard. Horrible customer service. I have been in the hospitality business forever. If you don't like your job, quit. We use to love going there before they closed. Staff and beer were great. We were excited to see them for the grand opening this past weekend. New crew! Very happy to see them back open. We walked in and I was disappointed to they only had a couple of beers brewed by them. So to me, its more of a tap house. But we walked up and the big guy just looked at me. I asked which lager he recommended. He didn't say anything then I asked is I could try their lager which was way to light so I sent with a beer made by someone else which is no problem. But before I could order, he ignored me and helped a lady that just walked up. I had been standing there waiting to order. Finally he poured me a beer. I totally felt like I was inconveniencing him. We walked out on the patio and the first thing I noticed was there were a million empty beer glasses on every single table with no one sitting at them. Se we had no choice but to sit at one of them. It wasn't busy enough for no one to come out and bus the tables. And then finally the burly bearded fella came out. I said to him, "Busy night?" Trying to be nice and chit chat and he looked at me and didn't say anything and kept cleaning the tables. It was very odd. Needless to say I will not be going back there. Their location is a huge challenge for them so they better find staff that appreciate customers instead of running them off I hate giving them a 2 but it is truly what they deserve. I wanted to give them a 1 but wanted to be fair. And no, I have never see the big bearded fella but I do know he does not belong in the business. Nothing worse than a dirty place with horrible service. Way too many other breweries to...
Read moreI frequent all the breweries in the area, and I've been to this one twice. Both times I've had a bad experience with the owner and the other bar staff.
The majority of the customers here are in their 40s - 60s. I'm in my late 20s, young looking guy. Every time I go to the bar to ask for one beer, the bartenders and owner wouldn't acknowledge me for well over 5 minutes. Bar wasn't that busy and other customers would walk up after me and they would take care of them first. I have ordered 6 drinks here between my 2 visits and nearly every drink I order it's the same ordeal. Extremely frustrating, what did I do to deserve that? Why do you make me stand there staring at you for over 5 minutes before you let me order one single beer? And I mean literally standing in front of the cash register, all they had to do was turn their eyes up to see me so it's not that I was out of their field of view.
In addition it takes them forever to handle each customer. Everyone behind the bar seems to have a one-track mind, no ability to multi-task, which is a terrible characteristic for a bartender. When you fill one beer and wait for it to settle you should be turning around and asking the next customer what they want to get it ready. And take care of your customers who are waiting to buy drinks before you start BS'ing with another customer. Basic customer service.
Their beers are pretty good, I'll give them that. I'd rank them in the upper-tier of local breweries as far as beer taste goes. But I've had pretty poor service both times I've come and it's not worth it...
Read moreI’ve been coming here since the reopening, and I am consistently impressed with what they’ve done with the place. The beer is great, the place is clean, and the staff are amazing. ESPECIALLY the big guy with the beard. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly, he keeps things running smoothly.
Ignore the reviews from anyone who “felt like an inconvenience” for having to wait to order while others were being served (on their opening week, too, might I add). All the staff are quick, friendly, and always happy to answer any questions you might have.
Great customer service, welcoming environment, and fantastic...
