Columbo's Pizza — Restaurant in Clemson

Food and service were ok. Neither were anything special. But I feel the need to leave a review because we were finishing up our meal and a 2 inch cockroach starts climbing up the wall at our table. We jumped up and decided it was time to go. I told the waitress at the counter nicely because people were around that there was a big “bug” on the wall at our table. She replied “ok” and proceeded totaling our bill. I then told her again, there is a BIG COCKROACH on the wall at our table. She had no response. As she rang up our meal, my sister and myself discussed out loud that she should care more about keeping it clean and bug free instead of just being worried about taking our money. No, not at all. She didn’t say a word, except to give us our total. A young teen (assuming an employees kid) was sleeping at a table most the time we were there. He heard the commotion over the cockroach and took it upon himself to catch the cockroach and tell it “hey little buddy, let’s put you outside” And as we leave, he tells us, “be careful where you step out there!” As my sister said, cockroaches aren’t our friends. Why did no one kill this thing or why didn’t the server even care??? I don’t feel this...

Fantastic pizza! The kitchen staff here is really on point. The stuffed deep dish was incredible. The prices are really competitive. We will return for the food. The waitress on the other hand, should be fired. I wish she had said her name because she was awful. She let another customers food sit in the window for over 5 minutes while she wrote a note and played on her phone, until the chef called her on it. She was extremely unprofessional from the time we walked in the door and I wouldn't doubt if she was on drugs (pills or meth if I had to bet). It was slow at the time we went so they had her prepping veggies, which she did but without washing her hands, which includes after handling money and busing a table. The restaurant itself has a grade A despite the trash and food on the floor, the mildew growing around the vents and a vent cover hanging down over the kitchen, but with this waitress there's no doubt if they were inspected today it would not be an A. Really good food but they need to stop slacking or it'll be shut down before...

I love this place. I used to go here with my then boyfriend now husband when we were students at Clemson. We went back yesterday and took my mom and our kids. They love it just as much as we do. I ordered a large spaghetti to split with my husband and they accidentally made a small. Before we even noticed, they self corrected the problem and brought us the small they had accidentally made along with the large we ordered. When I told the waitress she could've just made us another small, we wouldn't have minded since we were splitting anyway, she told us this: 'The owner is in the back and he said he wanted it made how you ordered it.' That is customer service!!! It is nice to see they haven't changed. Customer service is always on point and the food is excellent!!! We will be lifelong customers...
