When we first got seated a waitress with a pony tail braid was joyful and very polite. In my party there were 3 adults and 1 toddler. 3 adults ordered a Horchata, child a soft drink. Once received the Horchata it literally tasted like milk with added sugar. Not your normal horchata!! I asked the server nicely if she could replace the horchata with soft drinks since it didn't taste right!! DO NOT get the horchata!! She kept repeating its homemade, that it's fresh(kinda felt like she took it personal that we didn't like their horchata), however it did not taste like the original Horchata no cinnamon at all. She finally agreed to replace the drinks however she immediately had an attitude after that!! She threw 3 straws on the table(after taking our soda drinks, to replace the nasty horchata) no more thank you, or any kindness!! The 3 adults ordered a chicken soup add shrimp, (she did not want to add the shrimp, had to "go ask management"if shrimp could be added, we even told her we'd cover the up charge) server came back said it wasn't "possible" but said we could order the shrimp individually. Which we did!! We ordered Bacon cheese fries as an appetizer however the fries were still raw Also ordered cheese dip. The server continued having an attitude our whole lunch/dinner. Although the restaurant had a fantastic theme, the manager was good the server that served us today was horrible. We were skeptical about asking for cilantro, onions or extra limes due to her attitude!! The limes that were served with our soups were super hard and dry. The extra limes were juicy and...
Read moreI'm not sure where to start. The salsa was just tomato paste and when I said something, the manager brought out 3 bowls that were supposed to be salsa. One of the bowls was a green enchilada sauce and the other was a red enchilada sauce, the one that was actually salsa was decent but not great. The Charro beans were just beanie weenies. The whole corn was frozen and then boiled and then put on the grill for some grill marks. The black beans were canned, the rice was mush. All the meat was over cooked and dry. The cheese sauce was bland and milk has more flavor. This place is all about trying to make you think something is better than it is by presentation. When paying, I said that I was not impressed and that nothing was fresh and the manager wanted to argue that it was. We will never be going back. If I could give negative...
Read moreThe food I ordered was tasty, I will give them that. However, I’m taken aback at getting ONE bowl of complimentary chips and salsa (small at that) and having to pay for any additional. They also aren’t necessarily the traditional Mexican cuisine we’re used to. No refried beans or Mexican rice, only white rice and black beans. I’ve undergone weight loss surgery years ago, and I typically order from the “A La Carte” menu, which they do not have. I asked if I got the quesadilla and did not get the sides if the price would decrease and I was told no. $16 for a quesadilla?! NO THANKS. The atmosphere and decorations are amazing, but it’s a no for my family going back. I can spend way less money for much better culinary...
