Lajita Bakery — Restaurant in Cleveland

This place is INCREDIBLE! I'd give it a hundred stars if I could. It's a whole experience, getting a tray and tongs, and then going through three walls' worth of the prettiest, most delicious baked goods I've ever seen assembled. There are also meated tacos, kolaches and similar on one side, and they're all well-spiced and tasty.

The staff was also very sweet and helpful and I've absolutely fallen in love. I cannot WAIT to come back, maybe with a morning or noontime date. A lovely establishment, and one I'm thrilled to have stumbled onto.

Oh! It's SO inexpensive! I'd have paid 2-3x my total happily, but did not have to. Seriously, worth a trip in from the city,...

It is a great place to stop by if you are in the area. I live an hour away and don't mind making the drive out there. They are a one-stop shop. Love their bread. Always very fresh, soft, and delicious. They also make amazing tres leches cakes which you can by without making a prior order. They also have a taqueria inside where you can get amazing barbacoa, carnitas, pollos asados, tamales, and even tacos or a lunch plate. Oh and don't forget the meat market. I can’t buy my bread here anymore. Don’t get me wrong it is good but unfortunately some bakery items have filling on it and they are not labeled. I have never been to a bakery where the items are not labeled appropriately. What if someone is allergic to the filling? Staff is sometimes rude as well when I want to confirm if it has filling or not. Seems there’s lack of communication between management...
