My family and I stopped in for Supper. It took an hour to get part of our order(family of 4). 2 of us got food, 2 did not. My husband asked about the missing food. He was told that they had to go to the store to buy chili, but it would be done soon. When his food came, we asked about my daughters food. The waitress threw the empty basket she had in her hand on the nearby table, and huffed away. She never looked at us again. I asked them to cancel my daughters order and we would get her something elsewhere. (the rest of us were already done, and we had been there about 1 1/2 hours. ) My husband asked to speak with a manager, and we were told that he was not there. The one in charge(but not a manager) was the waitress that threw the basket and did not serve us our food. Needless to say, we will NEVER go back. This also happened to the family sitting next to us. The waitress was extremely rude. I understand that mistakes happen, but all we did was ask about our food. An apology and an explaination goes a long way, but throwing things and ignoring a customer means...
Read moreI've eaten here several times and find that the staff are very friendly. The restaurant is clean. The bathrooms are clean but very small. The parking lot is okay near the store and is lit pretty well but not at all near the back. They have a patio area and a section for parties. What I do not like about the place is that your calzone aka turnover does not include sauce so if you want sauce you get charged $1.50 extra for it. I placed a order to go and was told it was$38.08 for 2 large calzones and 2 extra things of sauce. When I went to pick up the food I noticed that I only had 2 cups not 4 I asked and had to clarify that I wanted 2 extra things of sauce. He gave me the sauce (although the cook with long hair was not wearing a mask) the total stayed at 38.08 on the receipt I find that I had been already charged for the 2 extra things of sauce. So I do wonder how many people order extra sauce pay for it and never get it thinking that extra sauce means a large cup...
Read moreWe were looking for dinner on Sunday early evening and if you have been in this area you know not many restaurants are open on Sunday evenings when we happened to come across Bella’s so we made the drive from Hot Springs Va here which took a bit of time.
The place is easy to find and super clean and well appointed and the staff is oh so friendly. They have a great menu selection. My wife had the eggplant parm while I had the baked meat lasagna. Both dishes were very good once we ordered our food was out very quickly and hot and delicious. There is nothing fancy here just good down home cooking and real comfort food place.
The staff is warm and friendly and very attentive my glass of ice tea never got below a third empty. This will be a go to place when we are in the area. You can not go wrong here. Portions are a good size not overly large and the pricing...
