Fay's Finest Food — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Worst food experience ever. They run a drive in out of the Kane County farm bureau in the costco parking lot alternate Thusdays during the summer that generally has lines. I ordered a pork chop dinner. I waited in line for about 45 minutes. It never arrived. 10 cars behind me received their food and drove around me. The cooking station looks like a big barbeque but the food on it didn't really look that appetizing. In 45 minutes I could cook a pretty respectable pork chop dinner. In that event I would have been able to have dinner. As is, I left when I realized this business probably was never going to give me my food. I suspect the long lines are there because people are endlessly waiting for their food. If they can't handle order management in a drive in, I probably don't want to risk actually eating their food. As a positive, I was able to get dinner at the Beef Shack after leaving. I recommend to stay away...

Tried Fay’s Pork Chop BBQ in Waterman, Illinois for the first time and had a mixed experience. The grilled walleye dinner was excellent—fresh, nicely seasoned, and generously portioned. I shared it with a friend, and we both left happy with the food.

That said, as a first-timer, the setup was a bit confusing. There weren’t clear directions on where to order or what the flow was supposed to be, and unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem particularly patient or welcoming when we asked questions.

Just had them cater an even for almost 150 people and it was TOP NOTCH!!! First off the staff at the even were friendly, professional and hustled to make sure food was ready on time and the trays were never empty.
