That Place Eatery — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Great place. Hand tossed pizza was excellent as was the brownie sundae! Waitress was attentive and friendly.

7/22/22 update A year later and I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 3. Overall, they are going downhill. They can't seem to keep wait staff. They are always new and appear to be lacking in training. They get simple requests wrong (i.e. toppings on sandwiches), don't check back after delivering food and have to make multiple trips back to the kitchen because they forgot something. The quality of the food has decreased as well. A couple weeks ago, I ordered the breaded fish fry for dinner. It's usually top notch. That night, it was so overdone that the only way to eat it was to crack open the breading and to pull the fish out (think how to eat crab legs here). I told the waitress and she just ignored it. Even the cook, who came out to the dining room as he often does, just said "sorry" and walked away. Everyone has a bad night so I just let it go. Today I went back with friends for lunch. The waitress was again new, got the order wrong and was quite rude. My friend made the comment that she had never felt so rushed out the door once the bill was paid. It's sad. Walked in with only 2 small tables of people eating. We ordered some chili dogs onion rings, and my son had chicken fingers and fries. We waited almost 30 minutes for the food and onion rings were burnt. Chili dog sauce had no flavor like dog food looking and the cheese was dry. Sons chicken Fingers were dry as well, we all ate 2 bites of our food. Won't go back. 2 people in kitchen and no excuse to wait that long...

Excellent breakfast! Eggs are perfect every time!

Decent pizza. The pepperoni balls are my favorite app. Chili dogs are great when they have them.

I had the worst BBQ of my life here. Avoid that and you'll be okay.
