Pedro's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Clinton

Cannot say enough good things about this place. It is only 5 mins or less from the water zoo and the service was absolutely amazing even when our server got slammed with 5 other tables including a 12 top right after we were sat. The food was so good the meat flavor was phenomenal we got the fajitas and whatever they do to marinate it is great,not bland like you find at alot of places even in the city. The rice as well had great flavor and they had an option of ranch style whole beans besides the refried ones they are a tad spicy but tolerable even for super sensitive mouths like mine. I am 7 mos pregnant and the portions were plenty big...this place was also rated #1 for Mexican food on trip advisor and it was so right. I wish I could remember the servers name he was so great we will be eating there every time we end up in Clinton...

Used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant but here lately they don't care how your food turns out. Cheese has been watered down chips are totally so hard and burnt and you can't chew them if you have dentures... And besides they give you such as cheese and sour cream and guacamole are so small I mean I'm a grown up human I need more than an ant sized dollop of sour cream. Salsa seems watered down and way too hot anymore. If they can make the food like it was a couple years ago I'd love to go back but until then I'm going to avoid it because they don't seem to care. And why is it I can order the same thing every time I go there and one day it might be $22 the next day is $32 based on who's taking my order something's...

Stopped by for dinner on a trip to have a family reunion,the food was outstanding and service was truly great,I had steak rancharo with beans rice and fresh warm tortillas,usually the rancharo sauce is bland and I asked if they could spice it up a bit and they did,it was just perfect as it left a little bite in your mouth after eating..oh so good topped it off with a cold beer in a frosted salted glass,thought I had died and gone to heaven.my wife Sandy had a dish of steak chunks potatoes rice and beans with guakamala (not spelled right) and pico..chips were served with caso and picanti..very pleased and will...
