The service was 6/10. We waited for 5 min before anyone acknowledged us. The 2 employees seemed really stressed and irritated .
The food was 2/10. They pre make the sandwiches, then stick them in the microwave. My pregnant wife was really hungry but couldn't eat the biscuit because it was similar to hard tack (we actually tried banging on the table, it didn't break). The pulled pork sandwich was very very soggy. I had to eat it with a fork.
The interior was lovely though. They had old 70s booths, rustic lights, and antique signage on the walls. The inside smelled nice too, and the bathroom was clean.
The drinks were 9/10. They had a lot of flavors to choose from, and my pregnant wife got the London Fog she was craving. Too bad she left hungry.
The price was 6/10. The drinks were worth it, but we might as well have gone to Circle K for the food. We spent $28 for pretty walls to look at,...
Read moreEdit After reading their reply I would suggest going somewhere else. They know they are doing a different take on bubble tea yet do not tell you it's a different take. The picture on the menu isn't even close to what I got. I can understand slight changes to a recipe but when you google bubble tea there is a constant 3 ingredients, tea, milk, boba. That's it, if you sell something that doesn't include those 3 then call it something different or put a description of it on the menu.
The ice cream was great and the peanut butter cookies was excellent. The only problem was the "bubble tea" was just tea with ice and boba. The ice made drinking it hard because almost every mouthful had ice in it. It was alright tea but for the price I paid I was expecting actual bubble tea. I would still probably go here for the ice cream but I'm hesitant to try anything else incase it's not what...
Read moreWe absolutely love it here! This is mine and my wife’s new lunch meet up. The kickers are so delicious and effective, we’ve tried around 5 flavors but I must say I favor the jolt juice. The food is home made and high quality . People who are complaining about prices are also mentioning places like Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts… which is your problem to start with because neither of those places have anything even close to scratch made. The ice cream is rich and delicious, like old fashioned ice cream . Don’t let cheapos deter you from coming here, this establishment is an awesome addition to Clinton and I hope to see one in Terre Haute eventually! Elizabeth and Kayla and the other ladies here are also so nice and welcoming… would give 6 stars...
