I had the chicken fried steak and eggs.

The chicken fried steak is hand battered. It was cooked just right.

The eggs were ordered over medium well and that's exactly how they were served.

The hashbrowns reminded me of momma's. Not over done nor underdone, but just right.

The pancake could not have been better at home. It had the right taste not rubbery.

The coffee was even made right. Not too strong nor too weak.

The price was inline with what I would expect.

Now let's get to the real gem...the service. The server was stellar. Coffee always full but she was unintrusive.

This place has been a family favorite for generations. Food cant be beat!! Ive never had anything here I wasnt 100% happy with. Merle, the owner, is so sweet!! Always makes a point to check each table to make sure everyones happy with meal and service. Service is always fast, friendly, and accurate. Place is always clean. Prices are more than reasonable!! This place is truly a hidden gem. It has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it feel like the heart of Clovis. You can really sense the community here, with friendly staff that greet you with smiles. And the food? Absolutely amazing! The onion rings are perfection—crispy and perfectly paired with the best ranch and ketchup. We tried the #1 and #3 breakfast plates, and wow, the portions are generous and satisfying.
