Very disappointed. We pulled up to one of the machines and realized the board had the words backwards.... So, we moved to another one. Pushed the red button and waited... several minutes and I decided to download the app, create an account, and then order. Within that time others in different vehicles were able to order and get food. When we finally got our food the 3 shakes, with each being a different flavor, we're delivered and the server had no idea which was which. She just said... I don't know, I didn't make them... very poor management... they should have a system to document the different flavors. Then we got our food and the order was wrong and the server had no idea what to do. I just decided I didn't want my portion of the food since it wasn't made correctly and I wouldn't have liked it. So, I handed her my food and told her.... Don't worry about remaking, I'd just like my money back. She said okay and went inside... we waited outside for a bit. Everyone else ate their food and we were ready to go. So, I went inside and the server was doing something else. I asked about my refund, she told me something like.. we're working on it... okay.... what do we need to do??? She said it has to be run through the system... okay.. she just looked at me standing there and then she went to who I assume was the manager.. they chatted, she comes over to me.. so, you want a refund for food? I explained just the one dog since it wasn't made the way I wanted it and I'd just prefer my credit. Then she took care of it. Very bad set up, bad management, and the food wasn't made properly. Read moreIf I could give less stars I would. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with only mayonnaise and onions with cheese tots as the side. Then they told me they can't add cheese to tots anymore. So I checked the menu and decided on chili cheese tots. And they said they can't do that either even though it's clearly on the menu. Then when I got to the window I asked why they can't put cheese on them anymore and no one had an answer at all. So I asked how long they've had this rule and no one could answer that one either. So I asked is it all Sonic stores or just this one and once again they had no answer. So I got my food and left. Only to find out my burger was made with only mustard lettuce and tomato. Not even close to what I ordered. Mistakes happen and I understand that. So I went back and explained the situation. Then the manager came over and asked how my burger was supposed to be cooked. So now I've explained it three times and I get the replacement burger and it doesn't even have bacon on it. When I explained it to the lady she seemed just as confused as the first time. And I had to explain it to someone else once again. This is just ridiculous. No one in there had a hairnet or gloves on either. Something I noticed at the last minute. But I guarantee I will never go back...
Read moreI love Sonic. I go to Sonic everyday. This Sonic should be an embarrassment to the corporate name. The customer service is horrible and the prices you are asked to pay do not match the ones posted on the menu board. The people taking the orders do not pay attention and so I have to repeat my order at least two times every time. All I order is a drink, but I will be stuck in the drive thru line for a minimum of 7 minutes on a regular basis. The "carhops", and this is said because that is the term for the job not that they actually go to the cars, will choose for the labor to sky rocket with a drink sitting in their que rather than walking it out to the people waiting in the line. I used to work as a carhop all through college and my husband managed Sonic stores when we met, so I know how the stores should be run and this on lacks management, customer service and employees having pride in their job. I have used all three Sonics in town and this is by far the worst. But it is the most convenient.
