Coffee Container — Restaurant in Clyde

The Coffee Container is conveniently located in beautiful Haywood County. It is on US Hwy 276 near the NC110 and US276 intersection in Bethel. They offer a wide variety of coffee and beverage selections, and additionally, they offer assorted pastries or other goodies. The owner is a local lady who I have had the privilege of knowing her whole life. The employees are warm, welcoming, and exactly what you would want from a local coffee shop. This is a cute stop on the way out of a stay near Canton. The only food option they had was a crème horn which tasted unbearably sweet (and I love to eat dessert and usually don’t have a limit for such things). Tasted like store-bought buttercream shoved into a refrigerated pastry dough. The coffee, however, was excellent! I ordered an iced mocha and got an iced latte instead. If you are at a shipping container in the middle of a gravel lot, you are in the right place! Menu is handwritten by the window. It seems to vary a bit depending on day and time. They have most of what you would expect from a coffee shop.
