Thirsty Farmer — Restaurant in Cobb

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.. the 'steak sandwich' was a greasy, grisly piece of fat on a 10 cent bun WITH NOTHING ON IT. I know you guys are in the middle of nowhere, and obviously don't know what a real steak sandwich should be, but at very least it should be served on garlic bread and have something on it .. ordered Bombay & lemonade & the waitress never heard of it.. had to settle with watered down or evaporated beefeater cos they never use it. Tasted like lemon water.. if you're not a podunk local, DO NOT COME HERE. Total rip-off!! Really noisy, terrible country music blasting, dirty looks from the locals, not friendly. This place...

Stopped here on a Friday evening onour way through town. It was a very popular and loud place. Seemed everyone was enjoying themselves. We had a cheeseburger with our chips and chicken tenders. The food was good bar food.

The space is small and loud. We didn't really appreciate how loud it was especially when trying to eat and shout at each other, but everybody else seemed to be fine with it. Just not for us.

We needed a place to go on our way home from Janesville to Iowa and stumbled across the Thirsty Farmer. We WILL be back. $32 for a screwdriver, a beer, two bacon cheeseburgers, cheese curds and mac and cheese bites. Great deal and the burgers were phenomenal.
