I travel for Home Depot and live in Panama City Florida so clearly I eat everywhere in the Southeast LOL coming through town I did a Google map search on my route for a quick place to eat and landed on Sugarberrys.
From the minute you walk in the door feel like they know you, the young man at the door greeted me like he's known me his whole life, the young lady I didn't catch her name curly hair dark haired girl....
Phenomenal personable and just really a great experience.
And don't even get me started on the food oh my God! The fried chicken will make any other Fried Chicken you have ever tasted remind you of dog food lol it was so good!
I also highly recommend the macaroni and cheese oh, and some pineapple saying they had at the end of the Food Line...whatever they call it it was amazing.
I lived here years ago as a radio personality at y96 in Dublin and this is my first time back here roughly 1998, if this place existed and it breaks my heart that I didn't know about but rest assured anytime I get within 20 or 30 miles of this place this will be where I eat when I'm in town.
Thank you to the staff...while my visit was brief , rest assured you made a lifetime impression on a guy with a really big mouth! LOL

Read moreThis was my first time here. Went around 1215,which is when everyone comes from church,so it was busy. The buffet bar needs better tending to. It was food all over the bar due to customers serving across the bar instead of walking around to the side. The mash potatoes had macaroni and cheese in them. It was a big piece of white paper(looked like a label maybe)inside the cream corn. The worker(who was adding more food)just scooped the paper out, along with a green bean and added more corn to the pan. It was flies flying around the uncovered sweets. I understand it was a busy time but you have to pay attention the the line. Or should I say better attention because a lady did come out and wipe one side of the bar. She didn’t wipe the other side nor was it anyone paying attention to the food pans and trying to keep those free of other food and flies off the...
Read moreMy husband's 64th Cochran High School Reunion was here today. They had ia reserved room at Sugarberry's. They fixed a delicious buffet with 3 meats, 4 vegetables, rolls, and a huge salad bar. Then brought to our tables non stop Sweet tea, water, colas, and coffee! Also, had a desert table with home made Banana Pudding, (my husband's favorite), Lemon Icebox Pie, and Icebox Chocolate Pie. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and having the space to enjoy each other... about 32 attended, with space for 15 more in this room. We truly thank them for making this event so special! The only thing that could be improved on...was the sound from the other group carried into our room, a door was needed to shut...
