I’ve only visited twice, though I live right around the corner. The first time I went, I was told that they were out of spicy chicken patties and was forced to order the regular chicken sandwich. When I pulled up to the pick up window, I was told that the manager would have to come from the back office to use her fingerprint for the cashier to be able to use the cash register. Seemed a bit odd to have someone working the drive through that doesn’t have access or is trusted enough to use the register. Once the manager finally arrived, the cashier informed her that I was using cash and asked if she wanted to go ahead and “handle it”. The manager is the one that took my $20 and then I was provided change from a completely different employee. The entire staff did a very poor job at customer service. The manager did not say two words to me, much less provide a smile. The food was thrown in the bag, fries spilled out into the bag and the food was lukewarm at best. I had to use my own napkins since none were provided. I could get better quality food with a much better experience for less money at ChicFilA. A simple chicken sandwich meal came to $12.82 🤷🏼♀️ I just attempted to go back a second time….against my better judgment, but the drive through was blocked off entirely. The dining room seemed to be open, but I had my dog with me and there weren’t any parking spots close enough for me to keep an eye on him in the car while I ran inside to order since there is only one parking spot in front of the restaurant with the rest being handicapped parking for the adjoining store. I was a bit confused on why the drive through was closed while the dining room stayed open. Usually it’s just the opposite during late night hours, especially at 1am on a Monday morning. I suppose this particular Wendy’s thinks they can just do what they want since they are located right off 95 and part of the Flying J. I’ll drive the extra mile to Merritt Island from now on or just get a much better meal...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at the Wendy's inside the Flying J. I was unable to place my order and ended up waiting for over an hour without any updates from the staff. It was clear that they were prioritizing DoorDash orders over regular customers, and no one seemed to care about the long wait. The employees were unhelpful and didn’t acknowledge the delays. It was chaotic, disorganized, and honestly, I’ve never felt so disregarded as a customer. I won’t be returning to this location again. There was a truck driver who was there before me and was unable to place an order as they told him door dash was priority. The truck driver was hungry and mentioned his blood sugar was low and the employee seemed like they did not care and refused to place his order. He proceeded to wait and he finally left upset and hungry working in the healthcare industry. That is not a good way to send off a customer health should be a priority not DoorDash and truck drivers. Bring our food to us all over the nation and they should have priority over us. As they leave their families and loved ones for months at a time to provide for us, but yet they get treated like they’re nothing. These drivers have very few places to eat and should not have to wait over an hour specially when they are feeling ill. As I travel, I refuse to go to any more flying days because of this it was rude and disrespectful...
Read moreDo you Want Amazing service with a smile? Andrew was at the Register and gave us an amazing service . We definitely had THE BEST EXPERIENCE ACROSS AMERICA !!! No other Wendy's comes close!!! Every employee seemed happy and we even had a cook help us give Andrew a Hard time for his comment and it was hilarious. I truly believe every Wendy's could learn from this Establishment. If this is a franchise the owner should be proud of the crew you have and give them some incentives to continue to be the best Wendy's I've Had in the U.S.A.
I never expect fast food to wow my palate. I simply expect consistency across America and to get good customer service because again that shows consistency in the business model that the company is supposed to be about. So with this being said I tip my hat to this establishment and want to leave this final remark. Thank You for setting the bar so high . I will compare every future Wendy's to this establishment!!!
