Check this place out. It’s a hidden gem in a small town. This is the first time I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant and no one picked up the salt and pepper. Our food was seasoned to perfection. I cut my pork steak with a butter knife! The sauerkraut is phenomenal!!!! Everyone loved their food. The German beer selection was a plus. They have a dish called Roulaudan that I wanted but it was “thawing” and I was unable to order it so I improvised. I was not disappointed. Delicious! A 5 star rating would’ve been given if menu items were available at all times. Also, a gentleman next to me wanted a certain beer but he was informed it wasn’t cold yet. This place is still worth checking out for sure. We will be back!!!

We had seen Oma’s House a few times as we often travel the road it is on. We like German cuisine, so we decided to give it a try, and definitely were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Tried the jaeger schnitzel and beer hall schnitzel and both were excellent. The German potato salad was also delicious. Also, I accidentally left my credit card and the owner was nice enough to contact me and mail it back. Will definitely be making to hour and a half journey back to enjoy more German fare.

Great little place to stop. Best selection of authentic German beer and sundries I've ever seen outside of Deutschland. We just happened to be passing by otw to Bristol/Meadowview area when we stopped on Trivia night Thursday. Food was great, trivia was fun, hosting was top notch and we took a ton of to-go items from the little shop area. Get enough to go or you'll be sorry you didnt grab more. Cookies were great, bread, chocolates, etc all yum. Keep doing it right, this Cincinnati kid and his friend enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

The service was great. The atmosphere was cozy. But, the food was a little disappointing. I am well familiar with German food/cuisine having extended family in Germany as well as having the opportunity to visit there. I felt that the menu was very limited especially given the extensive and unique nature and variety of German cuisine. I also felt that the items listed on their menu shared very similar taste profiles, which indicates a lack of variety, once again given the variety available to them, I had hoped to see a more unique and not such a generic selection on the menu. That aside, my biggest point of contention is that I ordered the Beer Hall Schnitzel which the menu states is topped with caramelized onion, mustard, and dill. I didn't taste much dill, or any for that matter, but what I did taste was a lot of oregano, alot. When I asked the chef about this, she seemed truly confused over the difference between dill and oregano, almost as if the words "dill" and "oregano" are words to be used interchangeably, of which I was a little taken aback. While dill and oregano share some one-off similarities, the profile of theses two spices have a totally different finish to them. One finishes bluntly on low notes, and one finishes sharply on higher notes, similar to that of the mustard. In a nutshell, I had high hopes, but was left...

An honest review.... I got the Jagerschnitzel (which was a small portion in my opinion) with fried potatoes and tea to drink. My wife got the gyro with fries and water to drink. We both liked our food .... everything tasted great! The only issue I had was the fact that you only get one side item with the entree unless you spend a couple more dollars for an additional side item. In my opinion...that needs to be changed .....Two side items should be the standard...No? We both got dessert...my wife got the bee sting cake...I think it's called....good stuff! (We shared). I got the Black Forest cake...it was awesome except for one thing.....I bit into a cherry that had a pit in it.....dang ....that hurt ! No damage done so I didn't complain...could happen to anyone. We also paid $2.99 for the tea and $2.99 for the glass of water my wife had. Don't know if that was a mistake or if it's customary but didn't realize it until we got home and checked the receipt.....will I go back? Maybe when the portions are a bit more or another side item is added.....We paid 50+ dollars including the tip......i wish I would have taken photos to share but I didn't....... overall.......a good...

Waitress forgetful waited on drinks 15 minutes . ( they were NOT BUSY either). Food mediocre. Order pretzel appetizer it was never brought out. Go to pay and they wanted to charge me for the pretzel I never got! First time and last time eating here I could understand if they were busy

Edited to reply to response from Oma Haus If the owner had been there and this is the performance of the restaurant and staff I see no need in talking to the owner. A crew is only as good as the leader. When I have to ask for my drinks after 15 minutes of them being ordered and have them delivered with no lemon! Then appetizer never served but I was gonna be charged for it anyway by the same waitress that waited our table but she was so forgetful or to busy cutting up with other staff to care ! 3 strikes during this meal and like I said they weren’t busy I can only imagine if more customers had been...
