Bear Paw Cookies Bakery and Crepes — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

I come here every summer during my vacation and 3/4 times I am disappointed in how the staff acts. I just went there right now and had ordered a crepe with hazelnut on the side, then I changed my mind when they hadn't made anything yet and told them I wanted just the crepe with strawberries on the side and this girl worker with brown hair said okay sure. And she made the crepe with hazelnut spread IN it and then they started laughing when I told them that's not the one I wanted and they were snickering and talking under their breath and rolling their eyes. Very unprofessional, I even left a tip, which is regret. I don't know why she says okay in a hurry when she doesn't understand and when the restaurant wasn't even busy. They gave me some gross strawberry spread instead of freshly sliced strawberries which is what I always get when I order the crepe with strawberries. Not sure what kind of training these brats go through but I'm sick of it. I've seen younger people act more professional than these women who are about 24. I won't return to this place again because the staff always acts like this. I looked through other reviews who also complain about the staff. Whoever hires these...

They do things right. We stopped in tonight to get some dessert after dinner. You can't go wrong. They have ice cream from a place in Oregon and even have Spumoni. They serve crepes and the biggest cookies I have ever seen outside of my wife's kitchen. We noticed one that they have with sprinkles and it reminded us of a cookie that a client of mine makes in Idaho Falls at their Mexican bakery. My wife tried to duplicate their recipe but made one just as good and this one that they had was different but tasted great in its own way. My friend and I went there today for icecream and we were so pleasantly surprised! The lady serving us, (who I am fairly certain was the owner) was so sweet and kind. She let me sample a flavor and then made us our cones. They have multiple different types of waffle cones and the whole place smelt soooo delicious as they were making them fresh.
