Before I say the negative side of this review, I want to address the fact that if it weren't for Gina (hope I am spelling this correctly) helping us when she had already clocked out (an hour and a half prior) and we weren't even in her section, we would have just left. Gina you are awesome! Thank you for going above and beyond to get us taken care of and picking up your coworkers slack. I really hope your manager recognizes what you do there.
Onto the experience outside of all that she did to give us a reason to stay.
Walked in. Place wasn't as busy as I had seen it before. We stood up front for 5 minutes waiting for anyone to greet us. Finally a woman walked out and greeted us and told us it would be a 15 minute wait if we wanted normal seating, bar top tables would be immediate. We chose to do the bar tables. The one we were brought to wasn't even cleaned off yet, so we waited for them to clean the table instead of just being seated at any of the other open clean tables for some reason. Anyways we sit down and are seated for a while with no one coming up to us to get drinks orders. Finally the dude behind the bar comes up probably 10 minutes later (He was not busy) and says "hey" while staring at me. Didn't ask for what we were drinking, no introduction, just a straight faced "hey". We told him our orders awkwardly and he left to grab our drinks, when he returned this would be the last time he would come to check on us until we were about to leave.
After waiting to order food for 10+ minutes and looking at the kid multiple times with him not acknowledging us, that's when we called Gina over and she served us the rest of the night. (Again, if you are reading this thank you so much) He never even bothered checking in on our table while his coworker was doing his job for him. He came up with the check at the end and again was very awkward, asked us if we needed refills for the first time, was just a really weird interaction. Gina came in once more to help us out with the check and rewards points and whatnot.
If the dude is new or something I can kind of understand but I wouldn't picture an establishment like this putting a rookie who has clearly never had any sort of customer service experience behind a bar. I have been to a lot of restaurants (and a ton of different BWW locations) and never really had an experience quite like tonight.
I have had a few bad visits here in the past but this one really makes me not want to come back. Spokane valley is not that much more of a drive and I have no complaints there. If I were to end up here again, I'd be specifically requesting Gina to be my server. She seems to take her job seriously and truly cares about the customers. To the dude behind the bar, maybe this isn't your...
Read moreService was terrible. Wife and I arrived Today - Sunday - at 1250pm. We had never been to a BWW before. We were greeted at the door and taken to a seat. As we sat looking at the menu, we see a sticker on the table saying you can order on your phone. We sat for a total of 10min without being approached by a server (3 families on our side of the restaurant, so not terribly busy) and we had seen a server walking back and forth on the other side of the room.
As we had never been here before, we thought we might have to order via phone as we hadnt been approached- the old covid style of ordering. So, we took the time to download the app, figured out that wasn't how you order...then scanned the QR on the table - went through the menu on the phone, built a profile on the website, Picked our food and placed our order. At this point, we're roughly 20min into sitting.
As soon as I had set my phone down, a waitress appeared to ask me what I wanted. No greeting...no hello. Literally walked up with a notepad and a pen and said "What can i get for you". I was kinda shocked...I said "oh...we already ordered through this table app as we thought that's how you do it." She apologized for taking so long to get to the table and then left the table.
Approx 15min later, our order of wings and mozzarella sticks arrived. Mozzarella sticks were just over Luke warm, so we thought - ok, these got cooked first and they waited on the chicken. As we grabbed a piece of chicken, we found out quite the opposite. The wings were right at room temp. No heat to them at all...and no waitress to be found. Never even returned to check in on us.
At this point, the goal was to cut our losses. My wife even said "man...what a waste".
We ate our Luke warm Mozzarella sticks and cold chicken, paid my $60 bill for cold food and 2 beers (hey, those beers were supposed to be cold and were...hence the 2 star) via my phone and left. We would have asked for assistance had we had a waitress that was actually present in our section.
We dont make it into town much as we live 1.5hrs away. We always enjoy picking a place to go out and eat on those rare trips into town. We were genuinely excited to try the place you see on the commercials as "the place to go" for football and wings. Now we know, we'll never be...
Read moreTo say that I am frustrated with this location is an understatement. I ordered from them five days ago and waited for my order for about 30 minutes. The wait wasn’t so much the problem, but it was that after 30 minutes they had forgotten a whole part of my order. Now they made it up to me by actually coming down to where I work and brought me what they had missed. They also had a five dollar off coupon so I figured I would give them another chance. Fast forward to today and I send my dad to go get an order with them that I had placed over the phone. Not only was the person over the phone extremely rude , and sounded like she absolutely hated my order, but when my dad came back with my order, it had also been screwed up once again. I ordered boneless wings and she clarified with me 2 to 3 times that they were boneless wings. When my order gets to my job, I see that they are not boneless. And I then talk to the manager who seemed less than enthused to help rectify the situation. I explained to him that I don’t normally complain about these types of things, but this being the second screwup in five days is kind of sad. The fact that he seemed like he couldn’t care less about fixing the situation is really frustrating (with his attitude over the phone, not with his words). He did offer to refund my order and that’s what I chose to do. if you want better service and better quality control then I suggest going to Wingstop or a different location than this one. I never thought I would say that I was disappointed and frustrated with Buffalo wild wings as I have always enjoyed their food. But unfortunately, this location is now turned me off to ordering from them. I have gotten to know one of the managers there over the time I have ordered food and I think he is great, but unfortunately this is not the manager I dealt with today. If I could give zero stars, that’s what I would be doing currently. Only reason I rated this place with a 3 star atmosphere is because of the manager I have had interactions with in the past and the bar tenders who are...
