Cornerstone Coffee and Sweets — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

I'm from South Dakota, but still very particular about my coffee. I visited my brother & wanted to try something local. I ended up finding this amazing couple, who are about to be business owners. When I walked in, I instantly smelled how delicious their coffee beans were. I feel terrible for not remembering the first drink I ordered, but it was a hot latte with turmeric. HOLY LORD was it delicious. This was my first time having turmeric in my espresso, but it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious! My brother wanted a blended espresso that wasn't too sweet, so I asked for a blended latte, & yet again, they did not disappoint! I've been around the country, tasting coffee, & this is hands down, the best blended coffee I have ever had 🖤 then, to top off the amazing coffee, the couple were so attentive to not only mine, but any other customers wants/needs and are unbelievably compassionate & truly want to only provide the best.. Visiting downtown CDA Idaho, wanted a morning coffee drink and something easy for a quick breakfast bite, came into Cornerstone Coffee and Sweets. The room was warm and comfortable, small electric fire place warmed the space , the smell of fresh brewed coffee and fresh baked goods filled the room. I ordered the Chai Latte for myself and a Peppermint Mocha piled high with whipped cream and crushed candy cane for my wife, So good , the Chai I was told is a local blend with black pepper forward spice , incredibly flavorful and fresh, the more I sipped the more I craved. The Mocha was also flavorful and serving sizes are also generous. I also learned the the Cinnamon Rolls are made in house, soooooo good the staff is super friendly and welcoming. My wife and I came from Spokane on the search for a new coffee shop in Coeur d'Alene! We stumbled across Cornerstone and immediately upon walking in we were welcomed with smiles and a warm cozy sense!

My wife got their Autumn latte - that was a 10/10, and I got their iced matcha latte. We sat down and the owner asked if I liked it and I said it was just a little dry. In their defense, I like them extra strong (I wanna taste the earth haha) and she immediately wanted to re-doctor it up for me.. Amazing service - it was spot on thanks to their care and homey hospitality.
