I have never in my life endured such a disastrously mismanaged and outright offensive dining experience. Two hours—that’s how long we were forced to wait for our food, all while watching other patrons, who arrived after us, get served promptly. The sheer incompetence of the service was astonishing. Our waitress was so utterly absent that we had to walk to the bar ourselves to get a second round of drinks. When she did finally resurface, she tried to pacify us by promising to cover our drinks due to the excessive delay, only to backtrack and blame it on her manager later.
But that’s not where this nightmare ends. After realizing she wasn’t coming back with our check, we had to go to the counter to pay. Given the absolute travesty of service, we understandably decided not to leave a tip. What happened next is something you’d expect in a bad movie, not in a restaurant that dares to call itself a business. The waitress ran after us as we were leaving, screaming about her personal problems and, laughably, trying to convince us it’s somehow illegal not to tip in Idaho. Spoiler alert: it isn’t.
Here’s where it gets truly unbelievable—this whole circus unfolded in front of our three young children, including our six-year-old. As parents, we were left shocked and appalled that our kids had to witness such unprofessional and downright bizarre behavior in what should have been a simple family meal.
To add a final layer of absurdity to this circus, a local woman decided to involve herself by taking photos of our license plate as we were leaving, as if we were the ones who had done something wrong.
This establishment is a complete joke. The unprofessionalism, the appalling lack of basic customer service, and the bizarre, borderline harassment we faced make it clear that this place doesn’t deserve anyone’s business. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this restaurant like the plague. And if you have kids—run...
Read moreWish I could rate the food here but unfortunately we never got ours before we ended up leaving. Had a server that told us she was brand new yet she wanted to take our order with no pencil and paper. Of course she ended up forgetting things and coming back finally with a pencil and paper. She also came back to tell us they were out of their chicken sandwich which we really wanted to try. The super weird part was we asked her about nachos we saw in a photo and we never agreed to order them because they had raw fish which I don't eat. Couple minutes later she brings out the order and we just started at each other blankly and confused. Told her we were just asking about it and did not order. We did order chowder soup as an appetizer and after about 25 minutes we asked about it. She said she would go check on it and she said they were making it in the back. I thought that was strange because usually when a place offers soup it is made for the day. She comes back about 5 minutes later to tell us they just dropped to the soup so it would be 11 more minutes. I don't know if she means physically dropped or if they just started making it. Either way by this point we were extremely frustrated with the whole experience and we decided to leave as we didn't have any food and it had been about 30 minutes. I understand being a new server but it was just horrible. I am also kind of surprised that they have so many beers on top yet they don't offer any non-alcoholic beer. The one positive was they were very busy so they must have good food. The service is very lacking and even the hostess at the front seemed very stressed out. The live music was cool and the decor was nice. Obviously a great location downtown. Don't know if we will give it...
Read moreMy friend and I were eating dinner here and our server Lisa was nothing short of wonderful. We had a wonderful time until I accidentally flicked a chip out of my hand because there was a bug on it and I acted on instinct. While I can admit that was not my finest moment, a 50 ish year old man walked over to me with the chip in hand and began to lecture me on restaurant decorum?? I was very confused because this man did not explain who he was or why he felt it his responsibility to explain why the chip on the ground was affecting him so personally. Regardless, I apologized and continued eating my meal. After about 5 minutes, I realized the chip that was on the ground was still on my table so I put it on the ground next to me just to remove it from the eating space. He then came back, cussing loudly, and demanded we leave his restaurant or he would call the police. It was extremely jarring and alarming and seemed to have been about something else because it was so blown up and dramatic. We complied immediately and tried to pay, but he insisted we leave without paying and never return. Shocked and confused, my friend and I got up to leave and asked if we could tip our server to which she replied seemingly disappointed in management, “don’t worry about it”. Supporting this business is supporting a man who apparently gets off on publicly verbally harassing young girls for no reason. He clearly embarrassed his coworkers and caused a scene to impress his friends and display a gross over compensation of authority. His behavior was appalling and the worse I’ve seen in Northern Idaho. Will not be returning and hope Lisa was properly...
