This is our 3rd (and last visit) to this place. The staff feign friendliness, but I got a sense that they did not care about my experience beyond collecting the money. The delivery is to go style, which means everything is served in tinfoil, with tiny plastic utensils. The food is mediocre, even for our town (north Idaho). The refried beans were so watered down a spoon was required. My go to dish anytime I eat Mexican is a chili relleno. This was easily the worst one I've ever had. Not only was the chili not stuffed with anything, instead of being dipped into a fluffy egg batter and fried, it looked more like an egg pancake poured over a limp canned chili. The most disappointing part of this visit was asking for water and a coke, and then after paying a surprisingly high tab I was directed to get my "drinks" out of a refrigerator, and realized I had been charged for a bottled water and a can of coke. No glasses or ice were available. Disgusting. Skip this place in favor of a number of other Mexican joints not far away, which offer a MUCH better dining experience. For me, a lunch date is a privilege, and I would not spend my hard earned money in a place that does not offer a comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff ...

The food is pretty consistent and decent except for fatty meat sometimes and stale chips. I wish the service matched the food. If you don't mind getting bad service, then go ahead and come here for some good tacos. I couldn't really understand what the guy was yelling when my order was ready and I guess it was my order so it took me about 15-20 seconds to get up and go get my food and he yelled Jesus Christ really loud. It was super embarrassing and inappropriate. The cashier taking the order is not very kind, doesn't say thank you for a tip, acts like they're doing you a favor by taking your order. Instead of the opposite way. Treat your customers a little nicer. People only come here because there's a lack of decent Mexican food in the area.

Update: I have been back since this time since there is a lack of Mexican food in the area and it is close by my work. I will say that it is hit or miss with service and food. Sometimes the food is a little greasy but honestly there's not much Mexican food to pick from in the area. The salsa was...

Food was good, not the best Mexican I've ever had but I'm from Texas so we have a lot of good food there. Anyway, only giving 2 stars due to service. The ladies at the counter seemed annoyed when we walked in and they MAKE you buy 2 tacos at a time, you cannot buy just one taco. That was really annoying as we wanted to try a few different kinds, but having to buy 2 of each was a turn off. When I asked for a to-go box (which they had because others were just getting theirs to-go) I was handed a clear plastic lid, thats it. So I asked for some foil or the bottom that goes with the lid. The girl did not understand English and they talked back and forth in Spanish to each other before finally giving me the foil bottom. I will not be returning to this restaurant and would recommend finding another Hispanic food restaurant to eat at if your...

Omg. My husband has been telling me about this place for years. We FINALLY came today. Let me tell you, DO IT! If you’re contemplating, contemplate no more! I’m from Southern California (and while I would never ever brag or tell people up here that, this situation it’s valid because you know I’ve had some dang good Mexican food) so when I tell you this is the closest I’ve had to dang good Mexican food I have had in the 8 years I’ve lived up here you should believe me. I had enchiladas and my husband always goes for the chimichangas at any Mexican restaurant. Both were great. The green sauce, omg, to die for. Amazing tomatillo tang! The rice was pretty good Mexican rice as well. Very fluffy and had good flavor. Anyways, stop reading my review and go eat!!

As someone who has eaten a lot of Mexican food in southern CA and in Baja CA, this is the closest match I've found in northern ID. The generous portions of al pastor and carne asada are on point and their carne asada fries/steak fries are just like the California fries I used to get! Some folks don't like fattier meats but I love it and think it adds great flavor. Their beans and rice are yummy too and their salsa is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

True, Authentic Mexican food! I ordered the carne asada burrito and it is really good. Much larger portion than I could ever eat on my own but there's nothing wrong with leftovers! And it came with chips and salsa!
