DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!!!! I tried Emran in CDA tonight with my husband. I only took the one photo because I WAS TOO BUSY STUFFING MAH FACE!! 😱 Let me just say, this is not just good Afghan food, this is good food, period. The ENTIRE LAMB SHANK nestled under the amazingly flavorful rice in the Kabuli Pulao was so juicy and tender, the meat literally fell off the bone - no knife needed. A mild yet delicious dish for those who don’t love their food to be hot and spicy. The Manto, dumpling-y delicious pockets of goodness, were cooked perfectly and FULL of different flavors and textures. We ordered those at a spice level 3. They were a bit spicy, but overall just super flavorful. And the Eggplant Curry with Naan we ordered at a level 4 had a KICK! 💥 It had very complex flavors that kept me guessing and coming back for more! Sides of a raita-type yogurt sauce and a pico-type “salsa” accompanied our entrees. They were great for dipping and saucing everything! Pro Tip: Put a Manto on a piece of Naan. Do it. Not pictured were a couple of desserts we squirreled away until we got home. Um….YUM! There were over 12 types of desserts to choose from so you know I gotta go back just to try more of those. 🤤 AND THEY CATER! AND THE OWNERS ARE SUPER NICE!! They plan on decorating more with traditional Afghan decor, bringing in a belly dancer, and expanding the menu in the weeks and months to come. Go. Just go. Thank me later. 💯🙌🏻

Having eaten at both this location and the Spokane location, I can confidently say this is some of the best food around. The food is pure and authentic from start to finish. The cultural indulgence is also very prominent, with authentic dining experiences to the food preparation. Do you see a picture of the food? It's going to be served picture perfect every time! The hard work and dedication shows in every flavourful bite! Prices felt expensive till my first mouthful. They aren't charging enough! The togo food doesn't lack from the quality nor quantity found when dining in! I'm seriously impressed with the service across the board! From dining by myself to a party of 10+, the food is prompt and very fresh! 100/10 recommended to anyone! I'll add more photos of all my food from Emran! The attention to detail on my takeout doesn't falter at all! Karayi Chicken with a full serving of Afgani Rice and a Naan Bread !! Outta this world!! Had some homemade cake! Super delicious moist! So many more wonderful treats to try!

HELP SAVE THIS RESTAURANT!! This restaurant deserves 5.0 stars and a Michelin star. The waitress told us about her boyfriend and the cook, who opened this restaurant to bring authentic food to CDA, hoping to immerse the locals and tourists in an atmosphere of amazing teas, hearty hot food and delicious kebabs. Everything we ordered was a 100/10. I had a kebab duo(recommend the Lamb), my boyfriend and I had naan bread with a delicious lentil and beef stew dip, and he had the equivalent of an Afghan pasta stuffed with delicious beef, tomato, and herbs you can’t get anywhere but Emran. Please come experience their conversation-pit booths. It’s closer to upscale than their sign indicates. Did I mention it’s with walking distance to ALL the bars??? PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND EXPERIENCE EMRAN!!!

The food is good and delicious but the salad and the white sauce were not enough. Also for the salad; the onion amount was too much in it it should be lighter so the customer do not get thirsty because he ate that salad. For the white yogurt sauce with garlic, the garlic amount is too much and it's killing the taste of that sauce so I highly recommend you get the garlic amount to minimum half of it. They're drinking fountain was off they did not bother themselves to go get box of soda from outside and sell it for the customers while they are being served at the restaurant which is really disappointing because you need something to drink with your food specially this kind of food, I would say at least sparkling water with no sugar in it that would be great.

Services were bad I would say they should work on it very well; first of all the guy who took the order he added an extra meal and apparently there is no way to give it back to the restaurant so I had to buy it from them also I ordered 2 naan 🫓 bread he did not bring it with the orde, rand I did not ask for it since I'm going to eat an extra meal because there is no policy to take it back because it's it was his fault so technically the customer responsible about the employee fault.

AC was off and the guy said it's not working so it was really hot inside you can't eat without any kind of cooling system inside , and they did not bother to go and get a fan from any wholesale stores and install it in the restaurant so the customer's can eat their food with no suffering . Also we had to change our table to another one and the new table was not clean and the floor underneath it was full of rice.

I would say if the owner works on his customer service there will be a potential for the...

We were going to eat out elsewhere, but failed to make reservations thinking that was safe to do on a Thursday night. Apparently, not all Snowbirds have left the town, so the wait to our "choice #1" spot was going to be over an hour and a half. On the way back to our car, we noticed this place that must have just opened about a month or so ago. Knowing that we absolutely love trying new foods, we instantly decided to give this a go.

There was only one other couple inside finishing their meal, so we knew there should be no wait. However, when we came in, we had to wait to be seated. Eventually, a tall host appeared before us and informed us that we could could sit anywhere we'd like, handed us the menus, and hurried away. We then had to flag him down to come explain the menu to us. He also failed to check on us throughout the meal. We finally had to flag him down to refill our waters, and later on to ask for the bill.

Having said that, the food was delicious, though a bit on the pricey side. Inevitably, I decided to try their desserts - tasty, but super overpriced!! $5/ for a super small cookie. BTW, the drink selection wasn't great either, but the host said they are planning to add more choices soon.

In short, the food was delicious, but the service needs...
