She told me the waitlist would be better. She said she would call me and I asked specifically if it was a 208 area code number Because I don’t answer phone numbers that I don’t know. She said yes. Well supposedly during the Christmas parade not even halfway through it. I got a phone call and they said Jace JACE, which is not my name. My name is Tracy and then I didn’t even look at it. We go in after the parade , knowing that we’re on the waitlist, she said well we sent you a text. She sent it to somebody named Jason and then she also sent it from a 704 area code. Neither which I was going to answer because they didn’t make any sense to me so then we avoided another almost 2 hours For a table, there was people who supposedly are some of your employees that had a table they had also paid, and she told me they were leaving, but then a guy and his son show up had ordered a pizza to go and then they all sat there and watch them eat their pizza to go from a box and I’ll occupy the table for another hour and a half Right. Came out and was terrible. We were ready to order when we sat down mind you and we had to wait another 15 minutes before even a server came to our table. The hostess was so rude. I could not even wrap my head around it I work in this industry. You don’t treat people that way . There was a bunch of open seats. She said well there’s people who have reservations for later. You can’t sit there but then she turned around and said three people she said we three adults and two little children under five we could’ve sat there been down and out of there before whoever else showed up , but back to the girl with the long dark hair that was a hostess rude as rude can be and our food came out wrong. We were so fed up by then we didn’t dare say word because our little ones were so hungry we accepted it and we left. I can’t believe that you , allow this type of behavior even after I went to the bar and approach them and they were trying to talk me off the shelf because I was upset. I wasn’t mean to them I wasn’t yelling at them cussing nothing but they knew I was upset and there was no solution , we will never be back and I will make sure I put in my review when I’m finished here unless I hear from you try to make things right, I will make sure I put the rest of us all put our reviews online and they will not...
Read moreWorst dinning experience I’ve ever had, arrived at the restaurant and waited 10 min to be greeted by hostess that never came, so I stopped a staff member and ask “do we seat our selves?” To which she responded “no, the hostess will meet you in the front” so we proceeded to wait out front for another 10min where multiple staff members walked by with out even a smile or a “we will be with shortly” literally no acknowledgment. So we stopped a staff member once again just to be seated. Once we were seated I ordered a bramble, a very common drink, our waitress told us they did not have it. I politely pointed out that all the ingredients are listed for other drinks, then googled it infront if her to show her you can simply google it and the 4 ingredient recipe pops right up…. She then told me I could try to go order it myself, so I did. The bartender had no problem making it, however it never came. She told us it could take longer since she gets it next door, however it was never dropped off at our table, we brought this to the attention of another staff member (since our waitress clearly didn’t have the time to check on us although we saw her sitting at other tables and chatting ) and the young girl told us she would have our waitress take it off the bill, just to have her bring it out AFTER our meal. I told her I didn’t want it as we were leaving… additionally we ordered a pizza and asked for NO GARLIC CRÈME, (it literally makes us gag) the young lady that brought the pizza out sets it down covered in sauce and says “I’m sorry they put crème sauce on it, we won’t charge you and your waitress is REALLY SORRY”…. Fast forward to getting the bill and nothing was compt, we told our waitress why we would not be paying for the pizza we did not eat, turns out she had no idea it came out with sauce… so how could she be very sorry if she didn’t know? Beats me.. she told us she would speak to her manager and get it takin care of. Immediately after leaving the restaurant I tried calling and asked for the manager… on the other end of the line I hear “she’s asking to talk to a manager, what do I say?” Then a second voice hopes on the line to let me know they don’t have a manager available. They contradicted them selfs multiple time and just had attitude, was very disappointed to feel like a burden for simply asking for what I ordered, was a TERRIBLE experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The young buser tended to us far more than our actual server, thanks for nothing Shannon. We stopped at taco bell on our way home (since we were starving at this point) and experienced much...
Read moreHaving been to Fire multiple times, we thought we had found a great date-night spot, but our experience last Friday proved otherwise. We’ve had exceptional service previously but the service from our particular waiter, Brennan, on Friday was mediocre at best. But the service isn’t the primary reason we will not be returning. We asked for a side of their habanero sea salt (which is delicious) to accompany our pizza and asked that the unused portion be packaged with the remaining pizza after our meal—not an unreasonable request whatsoever.
However, Brennan informed us that we could not take the salt that was already at our table and in which we had put our fingers to sprinkle onto our entree. We were quite confused as surely salt that’s been brought to a table in an open serving dish that people have very likely put their fingers and dirty utensils in is just going to be tossed out right? Wrong! We asked why we couldn’t just take the salt since we assumed it was going to be thrown out anyway when Brennan informed us that it was not going to be thrown out but instead saved and re-served to other patrons.
Needless to say, we were appalled by the thought of how many times our salt had been served at other tables where people had stuck their fingers in it after doing who knows what; brought back to the kitchen; dumped back into a container of even more leftover salt; and then served to us—but Brennan reassured us that he had served ours “pretty fresh.” Fantastic, problem solved! Makes us wonder how many unwashed fingers and licked utensils must be go into the salt before it’s no longer deemed “pretty fresh!” Brennan then had the audacity to tell us in a rather condescending tone, “Well, that’s what the spoons are for.” I mean, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be acceptable for them to serve uneaten portions of one customer’s pizza to another customer simply because the pizza came with a spatula for serving (which it does not at Fire, but that isn’t the point). The point is, that it is completely unsanitary to bring a food item to a table, which cannot be sanitized like utensils, and then serve that food item to other customers without their knowledge; the fact that in this case it was salt makes no difference.
If after reading this review, you decide to still give Fire a chance, our contribution to the community salt lick is truly, “pretty fresh” as we had washed our hands...
