Deb and I at first liked Firehouse Sub and would like to continue with enjoying earing at Firehouse. But over time the quality control has gotten bad and we also usually have a mistake with our order. The people who take our order are generally new and dont understand the menu or how to enter an order properly. For sure dont know when you are to enter phone number to get reward points. We generally order the same thing "Hook and Ladder" and you would think it was a different sandwhich at times. Two days ago we ordered three of these sanwhiches. Two were good size the third had almost nothing in it and only one kind of meat. For $42.00 for three medium sandwiches with a drink and chips you would think they would be more consistant. The food can be good or it can be skimpy. Couple weeks ago we ordered the same order and two of the sandwhichrs were only 2 1/2 inches as we discovered when we got home. Called them and they said couldnt be. What they did was cut one sanwhich in half and put in two boxes. We asked for the sandwiches to be cut in half. Not cut in hald, boxed individually with pickle and counted as two complete sandwhiches. We paid for four sanwhiches. When we got home we had the equivalent of two. Paid about $50,00 for two sandwiches chips and drinks. We had to drive back to get the sandwich they forgot. They would do nothing about the 2 1/2 inch sandwiches, said they dont have bread that size, we must be mistaken. I like the subs when done right,...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst Firehouse we have visited to date. Staff was rude, we had to repeat our order 3 times to the counter person and our food came entirely messed up. No tomatoes on anything due to a severe allergy. Tomatoes on salad and sandwiches. We mentioned this and were told to pick them off sandwiches and out of salad as the salad was pre-made. Ordered a medium Jamaican Turkey Came with tomato and no cheese. The mac and cheese sides were cold and my kids refused to eat it.. Told the staff as well. Got an "Oops. Sorry" and walked away. We waited nearly 30 minutes for horrible, food and service. Asked for military discount and were told it was only for firefighters. While we understandany businesses are struggling to find qualified help but honestly this place needs some serious work and the "kids" working shouldn't be talking the rude way they were or calling customers Karen's when they bring the the staff attention that the food and order was wrong. We couldn't eat any of it nor was our child's allergy acknowledged. Way to go Coeur d'Alene Firehouse for making fun of my mother in law when she was not happy her order was incorrect and my crying child who left hungry. Yall took our money no problem. God forbid we get quality food...
Read more3 days ago I decided to try Firehouse subs for the first time. Upon entering the store, I noticed a sign alerting customers that training was in session and wait times may be longer than usual. No problem. 2 young women were at registers taking orders. I selected the build your own sub. She showed me a picture of everything that automatically comes on a sub. Then nothing. I finally asked.....Are there more vegetables? She swiveled the picture cube around and said I could pick any of these veggies. I said wheat pepperchini, pickles,, and Onions and she snapped ONIONS ALREADY COME ON IT. (Well... to my defense... there IS a picture of onions on the extra veggie picture. On my 2nd sandwich she scolded me a second time for saying onions again. Dang. So I forgot. Big deal. Then when I said one of the sandwiches are a meal she asked me what size drink. Since I had not ever ordered before I was uncertain of their sizes and shrugged. She was very irritated and demanded WHAT SIZE DRINK! I said large. She did politely say have a nice day. GEEZE! Sandwich makers were working hard and sub tasted good. Made the way I ordered. Soda machine was out of most drinks. More than likely...
