Gelato By The Lake — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

Have to start out by saying I'm 100% Italian, and I definitely know my gelatos! I was so fortunate to have been there when Katie, the owner was there! Let me tell you, she can make excellent gelato! She also knows how to pick a wonderful crew! Everybody was so friendly and always smiling and always helping me in any way with my special dietary needs! Every time I visit in Coeur d'Alene, this is going to be a regular hangout for me! I definitely think you will not be disappointed when you are in the area and you stop in and take a look and stay a while and enjoy all you can! I sure did! I even took 2 pints home! Lol...

We had looked up this store and saw it had 5 stars rating. We arrived to see a sandwich board on the sidewalk and the door open wide at 11:53. As I walked in, the young lady behind the counter told me they were not open yet. I left politely and sat outside the store till 12:06. Yum! Yum! Yum! 16+ flavors of delicious gelato. So smooth and creamy with rich flavors. All of the gelato made on site. And the owner was such a pleasure to talk to.
