A delicious brunch! Phenomenal house made ricotta with salt, black pepper, honey balsamic, olive oil, pastachios, toasted sourdough toast, and housemade jam. Black truffle deviled eggs! They do not disappoint absolutely delicious every time. #idaho #couerdalene #food #brunch #travel

2nd review: Another visit to Honey in CDA. Another disappointment. I was hungry. 20 minute wait, ok, so I ordered some potato soup. 1 hour later. I get a bowl of potatoes with cheese melted on top of the potatoes. No broth, no chives, just potatoes and cheese. Sad, sad, sad. I will not give them another visit. I would not recommend Honey unless you hate great food and are only interested in a tourist. trap. 1 review:I have been to honey many times. And every time, i've enjoyed my visit until this last time. I have the BLTA sandwich on Croissant Bread. This item definitely should not be in the handheld category. The menu. There is no way to pick up this sandwich. As the bread is not stable and fold apart. As soon as you pick it up that being said, the bacon was great. The bread tasted great. The garlic aoi sauce was a little stronger for my taste. And I'm not sure I like the roasted tomato on the sandwich. My guest had the Caesar salad, which she enjoyed tremendously. I also had a Bloody Mary. Which tasted good until the end, when it was just dominated by the flavor of Anise or Clove. I think we hit the shift change. Because our server changed halfway through the service . It was a little hard to get help even with paying the check. We sat on the patio when it was delightful. I couldn't think of a much better ways to spend a lunch than sitting on the sidewalk of Sherman and watching the tourist walk by with my lovely wife. I would recommend honey, But I might stay away from the croissant b. L t a.

Sigh... Well, the first time we got food from here was through DoorDash. Awesome experience. Five stars. Had the burger and the fried chicken, house salad, honey buns. Soooo good. It got to our house in under 20 minutes. The second time we ate here was today, in the restaurant for lunch. Upstairs breakfast and lunch dining area atmosphere is awesome, bright and cheery, but tiny seat metal chairs are uncomfortable when you have to wait for 40 minutes for your food, and then take another 15 to eat it. Downstairs dinner and social area is beautiful and seems like it would be comfortable and fun. Great vibe. If not for all those good things, I would have given this only two stars. Today, we had a fairly new server, and I can forgive a lot because of that, but she was very inattentive for 30 minutes, especially considering we were her only table. I had to walk from the front of the restaurant to the back and ask for drink refills. Had to ask for a spoon for my coffee. I asked to see a dinner menu just to check it out, and never got it. Then, after waiting 35 minutes for our food, I finally asked another person who had been walking by our table multiple times, MUCH more frequently than our server, who happened to be the assistant manager, to please check on the status of our food. She was gone several minutes, and came back to tell us that it would be a few minutes more, and they weren't sure what was taking so long. We were eating a late lunch, and were the ONLY table with a food order. A burger and thin steak and poached eggs. Seven minutes later, we finally got our food. That tells me, as I have worked in several restaurants and I know how it works, that they hadn't even started our food until we asked about it. They blamed it on the kitchen, as restaurants often do, but I don't care whose fault it was, the server had no other tables. She should have checked on our food after 10 minutes. The assistant manager walked by our table multiple times and saw me craning my neck looking for our server frequently, and yet never stopped to check on us. She also should have checked on our food after 10 minutes, or asked the server to do that. The server finished strong, refilling drinks, apologizing often, bringing the bill quickly, and they only gave us 25% off, about $8. If it were me I would have comped at least the whole burger, had the manager apologize, too, and given us a gift card to come back and try them again. This review may not have ever happened if they did that. But, this should never have happened. I don't care if it was the kitchen's fault, everyone should have checked on it after 15 minutes at the MOST, and this never would have happened. Especially considering how empty the restaurant was. Ridiculous. We may give them a try for tapas and happy hour downstairs, but if they don't shine, we will probably only use DoorDash to eat there. The food is delish, so the lack of service was highly disappointing. It's a cool place. I truly hope this was a one time problem....

First time in a loooong time I’ve left a 10% tip. This should be a 3 star review but I didn’t want to punish the owner too much for one employee. I know good help is getting hard to find these days. I’m usually pretty patient and forgiving, especially when a place is busy, but the restaurant wasn’t that busy and this isn’t some backwoods diner with $3 burgers either. When we arrived it was a minute before we were even acknowledged much less seated as there wasn’t a hostess at the door. Everything went fine until after we ordered an appetizer, then I thought it odd that she didn’t come back to take our main course order, or come back at all. In fact, we didn’t place our mains order until the app arrived. Half way through the app, I ran out of both water and soda and didn’t get a refill until I asked for one when the mains were served. I tried making eye contact in the meantime so I could ask, but she didn’t even give our table a glance unless she was bringing out a dish. She cleared the appetizer platter but not the plates which was kind of annoying to have cluttering the two top table while eating our meal, but actually came in handy because the main dishes are served on plates that are barely big enough to hold the food. You can’t eat without food falling off of the plate and making a mess of the table. Maybe that’s why they don’t clear app plates… Again, my water and soda ran dry during dinner, but they were never refilled. I was kind of annoyed by the end and ready to go so I handed her my card to save her a trip when she brought the check, but she left the check and my card on the table, then came back for them… That was a first. That being said, the food was great! We had the poutine, the lamb and my wife had some kind of shrimp pasta dish. Even the Brussel sprout sides were top notch. Great food, but the service didn’t match the restaurant, I’ve had better service at podunk mom and pop restaurants that are under staffed on a busy night. My wife and I discussed just leaving some cash on the table and going elsewhere at one point. It was so bad, I was revisiting my every step since entering to see if I, or my wife, did something to offend or insult her as to warrant being ignored at this level. But, no, everything was pretty normal, and I’m not very demanding or difficult at all, as I’m in the service industry myself and hate dealing with...

I'm so confused. This place we chose because of the spectacular ratings and it couldn't have been a bigger disappointment. We came in Sunday night around 6 pm. We went downstairs and were seated pretty quickly, but then sat at the table for over 20 minutes before anyone came to offer service. We ordered drinks, ourtine appetizer and our entrees.

My sister ordered a rum and coke but it never came, eventually she walked up to the bar and ordered one. Our food took about 30 minutes, all came out at once, no appetizer first, which is the entire point of ordering an appetizer.

We were trying to be patient, the service was bad but this is also soon after the quarantine being lifted, and we expected slow wait times and some unorganization. But the food....

The entire point of eating out is for the food. None of us at a table of 6 ate even a 1/4 of the food, and we were starving!! Had to go back to our hotel room and ordered room service after dropping over $100 here.

We ordered 2 honey fried chicken plates, a mac n cheese, 2 kid mac n cheese and a kiss burger with fruit.

The chicken was so dry and overcooked choking it down wasnt even an option. It came with 3 red potatoes, dry, no butter, salt, nothing...coleslaw and jalapenos.

The fruit served with the kids burger was moldy, slimy and had pits on the plate from ?? No one knew.

My sister ordered the mac and cheese which looked beautiful, however it had no flavor at all! It tasted like bland flour. We were in shock.

The sever comes over at the end, no one checked on us the entire time we were served the food, and asked if we wanted boxes. We said no, and despite 70% of the food still left over, no one seemed to notice or care.

All I can think is either this is one of those places that's good for one meal like breakfast but fail on the others? Or a new cook ? Idk, but it was so bad I dont care to find out. First and last visit for sure.

The ambiance and decor was nice, and the server was friendly, but we eat out for the food which unfortunately I am...
