1st, I wanna say I like Jack in the box food. Unique spins on some foods, like the Brunch Burger. And I love those new soda dispensers. Love them. That being said... I've been going to this location periodically, since early last year. I work next door at MOD. They even hired to of my previous coworkers. (Never had a complaint when they serve me, more or less) And in that time, I've been in about a dozen times. Maybe more. And I can count maybe 3 times, that I had no issue. Late night staff is friendly (ish). Every other time of day, reminds why I don't go often. The problem? Well.... we'll start with food qaulity. Slathering my sandwiches with sauces. You bite in, and get a glop of mayo in your mouth. Or ketchup. And even when I specifically requested them not to over sauce it, they do anyway. More than once the fries tasted old. Next, we have the "time taken is too long" for simple items, regardless of being busy or not. They seem to care more about drive thru, than inside customers. And I REFUSE to go that route. They make enough mistakes inside when they're not rushed. I can't imagine they'd get it right going through drive thru, either. I get drive thru times have to be catered to sometimes. But it shouldn't be at the expense of inside customers. We can be in a hurry too folks. And I've never had a visit that didn't take a few minutes to even be acknowledged. And it never takes less than several minutes to get my food. Busy or not. And, lastly, the most important I think, the "customer service". They just don't seem to care at all. No greetings. No upsell. Several have stood literally, feet from the front counter, bullshitting. I see they see me, but make no move to engage me. And most often, the attitude sucks. No smile, just a "what do you want?" look. Employees seem to go out on smoke breaks quite often. I know this, because I have a direct view of the parking lot, from my work. I've seen them smoking right outside the front entrance. Who wants to smell that? Also, I write check ID on my card. I've been a victim of ID theft. It's a good practice to check them when it's written on the card. Takes 3 seconds to check it. When I asked why I wasn't carded, they said they aren't supposed to do it. Not sure if I believe that. Every time I see that on cards at work, I check it. No exception. And, I'm told almost every single time, I'm the only person to actually check it. And they appreciated it . The final straw for me, was around 830, June 2nd. I wanted a cheap burger, on my way home. So I walk in, and there's a girl with bright pink hair, mopping the front lobby. She sees me, then gets an annoyed look on her face. No hello. No greeting at all. And when I go to the register, I hear her audibly SIGH, set the mop down, and walks to the register. We make eye contact, (awkward silence) But still, doesn't address me at all, or ask what I'd like. I say hi, she doesn't respond. I ordered my little bacon cheeseburger, and yes, I asked for them not to slather it. They did anyway. That's a few too many complaints, to even bother going there again. I've had enough of it. No amount of location proximity, will convince me to try again. Y'all need to fire some people, and reconsider your standards of...

On June 26 2025, around noon, I stopped at your Coeur d’Alene restaurant at 2754 N Ramsey road, and ordered four tacos. I asked for the shredded lettuce packed on the side. Other Jack in the Box locations, including this one in the past, have always done that, no questions asked, ever. I didn’t mention that some of the tacos were for my autistic daughters, and under the ADA (42 U.S.C. § 12182; 28 C.F.R. § 36.302), Idaho Code § 67-5909, and Coeur d’Alene Municipal Code Ch. 9.56, I don’t have to share personal medical details to get a simple accommodation.
The woman who seemed to be the manager (middle-aged, dark hair) refused. First she said the containers cost too much. I suggested using a taco sleeve as many other locations have done. It costs almost nothing. She cut me off, said “We just don’t put lettuce on the side. Period,” She possibly broke federal, state, and municipal laws. I left without finishing the order. I drove to the 196 W Ironwood Dr, Coeur D Alene location and got the fantastic service that I'm used to getting .
Separating lettuce is an easy, no-cost request that many people with sensory sensitivities (like my daughters) need. Under the same laws cited above, restaurants must make reasonable changes when they are simple and cheap. No one should have to reveal private medical information to get that courtesy.
I will be placing this order again at this location as I have many times in the past, so please retrain the staff at this store on reasonable accommodations and let me know how you will keep this from happening again.

Read moreAs someone with a disability I had a terrible experience at this location. I came it at about 9pm with my cardiac alert service dog. I noticed an employee moping, I asked if it was ok to come in and he said it was ok. He took my order and was super kind. I then sat in a booth directly next to the ordering table. My service dog was just laying down as I instructed him to. A male employee with short dark brown or black hair then proceeded to look frustrated and said " oh, dont worry I won't work on this order since SOME PEOPLE like to ruin our clean lobby right when you cleaned it" and then looked at me, the only person in the lobby. Keep in mind my dog is well groomed, clean, and wearing booties. He's not being disruptive or making a mess. The employee moping kindly said " I'm sorry, please ignore him" I proceeded to let them know I'm disabled and he's a highly trained cardiac and medical alert service dog. Another employee siad to the rude employee " no, I know what your thinking, don't mess with that" in a joking tone while he was making my food. The rude employee came up after glaring to tell me about his dog, I wasn't amused as he acted like I couldn't hear how he was just talking about me and my service dog. Whoever was mopping and took my order was amazing and I really appreciate them. My service dog is highly trained and a real service dog. This wasn't a pleasant experience as my life literally depends on him. I work fast food, I get that it sucks to have to clean again but never have I made someone feel bad simply for ordering...
