LOLA — Wine Lounge — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

I want to address the negative review posted on 8/2/2025. I was sitting right next to this woman at the bar that night. She kept making inappropriate and rude comments to multiple people, and her behavior kept escalating. It takes a special kind of skill to deliver white-hot offensiveness with that much speed and confidence, and she gave it her all.

The staff gave her far more grace than she deserved, handling the situation with calm and care until it was unmistakably clear she had crossed the line. After she was asked to leave by the staff (and not a moment too soon) she said she was going to post a bad review. Sure enough, about 20 minutes later, she did. She claimed the food made her sick, but I had the exact same dish and it was excellent. She was also served promptly, so that part of her review isn’t true either.

We stumbled upon Lola Wine Lounge while walking back to our Airbnb. A few people were seated outside, and it looked cute, so we decided to give it a try—and what a gem! Moody yet playful, it’s a charming little spot with a great selection of wines and champagne, including bottles from beyond California and Washington.

We sat at the bar and met the owners, Sam and Anna. Sam was knowledgeable and made spot-on recommendations—he even convinced me to try an Argentine Malbec, and I loved it! We ordered the whipped feta (yum) and a charcuterie board. When Anna heard I was a vegetarian, she was kind enough to ensure the meat was kept separate from the cheese—such thoughtful customer service.

The server (whose name I didn’t catch) was equally friendly. The vibe was lively without being overcrowded, and we ended up chatting with a few locals who clearly love the place. If we’re ever in CDA again, we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the fun...

My husband and I wondered in here after the art walk. Everything was absolutely amazing! The champagne was so good we got a bottle to take home. The Charcuterie board is a high quality selection of items. The show stealer was the dips trio though. I don't know which was better the hummus or the whipped feta, but they were both the best I've ever had. The place was busy with nearly every seat taken by the time we left.
