Madd Chicken Teriyaki — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

We were excited about this place before it opened so had to try it out. I went in to pick up dinner for my wife and I. I got the teriyaki chicken entrée, madd sized for $18, my wife got the medium teriyaki combo with steak and shrimp, hers was $17, we added a side of fries and a side of Gyoza’s for us to split, I also got a 20 oz soda. You would think after all that that they would give you sauce for the fries, but that was an extra dollar, also on their menu, I saw that if you wanted teriyaki sauce, it would also be an extra dollar, I guess it’s too much to assume ordering a large teriyaki chicken plate that it would come with teriyaki sauce, so I passed on that. The meals were supposed to come with salads, but those they forgot to put in the bag, only to find out when I got home, and the veggies were just a small soggy scoop, not good! Then I found out that my chicken was dry and had no sauce on it, the gyozas were super tiny and overcooked, definitely not worth six dollars for four of them, the fries were very small and Cold, also not worth six dollars, overall after a two dollar and 50 Cent tip. My total was $55! I am very dissatisfied with their service and the food was not very good, I’ve had teriyaki plenty of times and unfortunately this isn’t it! I will not be returning, beware it’s overpriced...

I want to love this place!!!! The food is delicious!!! BUT … beware of what they are charging you! The Deluxe burger combo is advertised as $17 on the menu, but in fact they charge you $17.50. Now, 50 cents is nothing, but it is just the principle that they are not charging what is advertised regardless! I noticed it the first time I went in there and took food to go. I mentioned it to the cashier and she kindly refunded me the 50 cents. Great! It seemed as though either their menu was incorrect or their computer was ringing up wrong. I was assured it would be fixed and I was hopeful the next time I went I there it would have been fixed; either they updated the menu to reflect the extra cents or the computer would ring up as advertised, BUT NO. I still, once again, was over charged by 50 cents more than advertised. I didn’t say anything the second time. I guess they didn’t care enough to fix the problem, which to me seems like a lack of integrity. I LOVE the food. I can’t not rave about it enough! It is the best teriyaki around. But idk if I can support a business that is not...

First time at this place and I was happy as can be! You guys did a great thing with the teriyaki sauce that's what I came for something to eat the sauce with was just a plus for me haha! 😂Teriyaki is my favorite sauce on the planet! So I chose for fry sauce on the side but my sister got hers on there! I went with fries this time to make it fun. Ps they are cooked in tallow! This really brought out the flavor of the crinkle fries to meeee🤪🤪! 🍟🥩steak teriyaki fries ...I could have dumped my additional yaki sauce but it was more important for my taste buds to taste the freshness of each fry! Next time I will be there for the steamed veggies which look really good over rice and chicken instead of steak. Oh the steak it was suuuuper tender! Like an old school teriyaki beef bowl from my teen yrs. Alot of smiling faces and food brought to the table which was very appreciated thanks again you get a lot of food for the normal order of teriyaki fries a full container enough for two people. So long story short 😂😂😂it was good !...
