This was actually really frustrating and embarrassing on McDonald’s behalf.
Picked up a DoorDash order at this location. DoorDash sent me there a little past 2am and note, on the DoorDash app it does not tell you the restaurants store hours or any of that information, so I’m going to assume this store I’m supposed to be picking up food from is open when I get sent there. I kindly waited at the window because I saw employees standing there talking, so I truly thought they were opened. I waited, and waited, and waited, very respectfully and very politely. I’m a small person, so I thought maybe they couldn’t see me and I even attempted standing up so they could see someone was there. These two employees straight up ignored me the entire time, and I would like to say, they were looking in my direction the a majority of the time so, unfortunately, I know they saw me. It was just very unprofessional and flat out rude, as I work in restaurants and would never treat a guest that way, even if we were closed.
Additionally, I could hear these “managers” shit talking about their other coworkers the entire time I was sitting there and the fact that they couldn’t stop their trash talking for one second to just inform me that they were no longer accepting/handing out orders was exponentially disrespectful and, in my opinion, shouldn’t be acceptable in hospitality, quick-service or not.
After patiently waiting, I inferred they were closed by the way the employees treated me, and left. I called this store about 10 minutes after I left and that so called “manager”, that was completely pretending like I didn’t exist 10 minutes prior, answered the phone, but couldn’t be bothered to stop his gossip about subordinates for one second to let me know they were closed when I was sitting in front of him for 15 minutes; this was an experience I’ve never had before anywhere ever and was truly beyond me.
As a manger, these two employees 100% need to be coached on professionalism in the workplace, basic human interaction in a hospitality setting, and frankly, just how to treat others in general so they are actually leaders and not just bodies at this establishment, which is clearly was they are currently. Especially if you’re allowing these employees to hold “manager” titles. Poorly trained employees like this make the entire...
Read moreOn March 16, 2019 approx 10:45pm, I never even completed my order because the young Hispanic gal taking the order this evening, was very unprofessional. She was giggling into the speaker upon initially taking my order. Then she proceeded to take my order and after previewing the screen she had 2 of the meals out of the 3 I had ordered. My #1 combo was not added but there was a second additional med fry that i hadn't ordered. I continued to correct her and asked where my combo was and she replied with an attitude that i never ordered a combo. If that were the case, then why did she ask me what drink i wanted and if it was a sm med or lg? She continued to use a snarky tone with me. As I approached the window, i could see her in plain sight giggling again with a co worker. When i approached the window i asked if she had fixed the order yet and she gave me a confused look and an eye roll. . I then said i originally ordered 3 meals and a SEPARATE medium fry for myself. She then lied to me and said "oh that wasn't me, that was anther girl". With a disrespectful attitude again. It WAS her because she was wearing the headset the entire time and giggling in the window off and on as though something other than doing her job was more important. Ive been around a while and have raised teens well into adulthood and Im stl raising teens. I know the voice that was on the speaker. It was the same young lady who took the order. Her customer service was unacceptable and she could use more professional development. I Will not be back to your particular location due to the rude service i received tonight. I drove off and ordered my food elsewhere. Its one thing to make an honest mistake but to be rude and disrespectful to paying customers...
Read moreThe food was okay. Our issue was the drive thru. First we placed our order and were told that we would get the total at the first window, Then nothing was read back and the display didn't show us the order so we could verify the order. So we drove to the window, and the gentleman opened it up and never gave us the total and looked at us in a "Are you gonna pay?" way. I then had to ask for the total. Which we finally got and paid. At the next windowing took a while for someone to even talk to us. We were given 2 of the drinks and a bag of food. While we were waiting for the other drinks, we checked the bag and realized we were missing my Son's burger that I know we ordered. I had to have down a worker inside and informed them of the missed burger. I was immediately met with some rudeness and was asked if we had the receipt. I gave her the receipt and was told that I would have to pay for that. I informed her that it should have been part of the order. She just shut the window at this point. Then we waited while the burger was made while other cars were backing up behind us, and came back to get payment. I handed her my card, after several attempts she stated her card reader was having issues. She then was able to get the card to process and gave me that receipt and closed the window. Then she gave us our burger and I had to ask for the original receipt back. Overall we were treated somewhat rudely, as if we did this on purpose. Reading the order back or having the display show the order would have prevented them not ringing up my son's food and...
