Okay, so the only reason I gave this place 3 stars for food is, being a native Southern Californian, I'm used to Mexican food with a serious amount of flavor. And this place does a decent job in that respect. Better than 90% of the Mexican places in the inland PNW where people seem to be afraid of chili's or other spicy ingredients. So I would really call this type of food "Latin American INSPIRED" food. But their meats are acceptable as a substitute for something simmered for a couple days by someone's abuelo who grew up in Guadalajara or Cuidad Juarez. More of a "we waved some chili's at the food to inspire it" kinda "Mexican food" that the...sensitive pallets of North Idaho can handle. Their salsa is pretty good, though, I will give them that, even if it is missing that "holy Mother Mary, that's going to be uncomfortable coming out" heat I miss so much. Service is reliably good, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will say it's always cold inside the very small dining room. Like "don't forget your jacket or sweatshirt" cold. Maybe it's my missing thyroid and that I'm sensitive to temperature changes now, but I'm always very chilly inside. I'd recommend them for their Buritto Supremo, my family all like their tacos, and we haven't had any complaints for the quality of the meals we get. If you live up here, and need a decent, affordable, and enjoyable hit of Mexican food, hit this place up, definitely! Parking can be a little tricky, and the one way roads make approach kinda troublesome, but if you coke in from the resort area of CdA,...

Owed my friend a meal as a thank you. He picked this place & raved about their Shredded Beef Taco Salad. Generally, I'm not a fan of Taco Salads because they are often tons of flavorless iceberg lettuce with a few bites of the good stuff (meat, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes) This one does contain iceberg, but it was buried under a mountain of shredded beefy goodness & topped with a nice spread of sour cream & guacamole. The spreading part made it most excellent because you got a bite of those tasty condiments with most bites of salad & meat= yummy. If there was a weak point, it was the shell, but I used it to scoop up goodies & there was enough flavor, plus I was pleased to note it was not greasy. In addition to the Taco Salads, they have most of the usual Mexican items & I will be back to try the porkie goodness. I ordered to go at the counter from some very nice ladies, but there is also a drive thru. It's a small building, but they have outdoor seating with umbrellas. The two salads plus 10% tip set me back $27 which might be on the high side for a fast food place, but I consider it well worth the price. You get what you pay for & I've paid more to sit down & been much less satisfied, so if you're in CDA...

I have had MANY varying breakfast burritos across the country as well as down in TJ. With that said my son and I just had the breakfast burrito here and it was Beyond Amazing. The chorizo was perfect, the bacon was crispy and Not soggy like so many places offer, it was just egg, potatoes, bacon cheese and chorizo and thankfully wasnt filled with re-fried beans as I often find many places utilize as a filler. The hot sauce was a great accoutrement to the meal. My son was silent for once while eating as he devoured his burrito. I love supporting our local businesses here in CDA and am extremely happy with our breakfast choice this morning. We did get extra cheese and bacon as we love our cheese and bacon. The price was totally reasonable for a burrito as my son stated "this things as big as my head", When we pulled away from the drive through I thought "Damn, this Bag is heavier than getting dinner for the entire family at many places" I would highly recommend anyone try their breakfast burritos. The staff is awesome and the family that owns it are stellar people. I'd give more stars if I could, Please keep making these burritos. 10/10 and we definitely found our breakfast burrito...

Wife and I wanted to try a New Mexican spot in the CDA area and this one had the highest reviews. I guess some people have low expectations. People were nice and it’s a very small ma and pa shop. Kids had cheese quesadillas, I had the super combination burrito and wife had the ground beef tacos with a side of rice and beans. We ordered a side of tots with cheese for us and kids and a chips with cheese with a large soda and 2 apple juices. Our bill was $45. A nice sit down restaurant would’ve probably been the same price and this quality was a let down. Their salsa however was really tasty. The tots and chips were definitely warmed up in the microwave, as were the kids quesadillas. My burrito was just warmed up ingredients out in a tortilla and wrapped, wasn’t grilled or anything. Asked no tomatoes on wife’s tacos, she repeated back no tomatoes and they still came out with tomatoes. Again warmed up ingredients. The side of rice and beans were the most tasteless, bland sides we’ve tasted, tasted like cardboard. I would highly suggest against this place. Cheaply made, as generic as it gets.

SOOOOOOO delicious!!! The staff were friendly, the service was prompt and the food was fabulous!! The burritos are huge….plenty for 2 to share unless you have a big appetite. The homemade salsa is delicious and the libation options were plentiful! You won’t be disappointed if you swing by to fill your belly or wet your whistle! *Patio area if you’re dining w/ your furry kids.

We ordered the chicken burrito and ate outside. As you can see from the picture it was a gorgeous day. There is inside seating, but I didn't capture pictures. We ordered at the counter and they brought out our food with a squeeze bottle of salsa. My husband and I almost killed this bottle ourselves. Literally! I could eat this as a meal. I highly recommend eating here.
