Took the wife to cda for dinner and a movie tonight. As soon as we pulled into town we called this restaurant and asked if there was a wait. They told us there was a 45 minute wait and asked if we wanted to be put on the wait list. We said yes, they asked for our name and number, told us it would be 45 minutes. We went across the street from red lobster to Harbor Freight and a clothing store to kill some time.
After 35 minutes from calling we a went across the street to red lobster to check in and wait the remaining 10 minutes for our table.
The hostess looked up our name on the computer and told us it was going to be a 45 minute wait. We told her we already were told that when we called in and we were supposed to be put on the wait list 35 minutes ago. She told us that more people came in after we called and we had to wait longer because we just checked in and that just how it was. Absolutely zero apology for wasting our time.
So we had to hurry and find another restaurant so we could eat fast to get to our movie since now this Red Lobster already wasted 40 minutes of our time.
Absolutely horrible service. No one told us we had to physically sit at Reb Lobster the whole time and they never told us our 45 minute wait was going to start only after we got there. Why would they put us on the wait list over the phone and tell us 45 minutes, if they weren't going to actually put us on the wait list and make us wait another 45 minutes once...
Read moreService was great. A bit slow but that's fine. The Mariners boil was good with the exception of the HORRIBLE corn. It reminded me of the stuff we used to get in elementary school. Limp, lifeless and no flavor. The Bacon wrapped scallops were really tasty but a HUGE RIP-OFF. For $9.49 I expected more than 2 little measly scallops. The crab topping on the asparagus was also rather disgusting. There were flies in the eating area and an off putting smell when you first entered the restaurant. I really wanted to give a better score but the prices were too high and the food quality was not up to par. Cleanliness was also a factor. If there are files then that means there are maggots somewhere in the kitchen... GROSS!!! This store is rarely busy and we've wondered why for awhile but I guess we now have our answer. I notice that they are offering discount codes through Facebook to make up for dissatisfied customers. What about those of us who despise and do not use Facebook? How presumptuous. Yet another negative point to consider. Using Facebook is one thing but assuming that everyone else does is foolish.
UPDATE: The owner responded telling me to send a private message on Facebook! DID YOU EVEN READ MY FEEDBACK? Good Lord what is wrong with people? Additionally, unless they clean up the kitchen and offer a fair portion of food for the price, I...
Read moreLong day of driving up from boise Hungry and tired , Arrive here on a whim to eat and get seated, We figured out what we wanted before we even got drinks So when we ordered drinks, we did our food order at the same time, so it's not too bad so far,
but all changes here
After waiting for aprox 45 min for three cheeseburgers, an order of fries and an admirals feast, our food arrives
Admirals feast was all fried foods that were overcooked and tasted like grease
The three cheeseburgers were frozen patties they cooked and tasted like cardboard,
the fries were half cooked and seasoned ( some cold and no seasoning/some over seasoned and burnt,
Needless to say, this was a great reminder why we don't go to Red Lobster It used to be a great chain, but not anymore Also spent $175.00 for garbage Could have spent half that at a drive thur and got better food I suggest everyone stay away from here,
Although food was crap Our server was great, stayed on top of drinks, and she was around enough, but not too much server was awesome Too bad she works for such a horrible...
