San Francisco style Sourdough Eatery — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

This visit to SF Sourdough was so much worse than the last time we went. Last weekend or the weekend before we got food from there and there was a young lady working all by herself who made us great sandwiches and was very friendly. This time it was a young guy who looked like he believes in showering 2-3 times a week. He was friendly and tried to not keep me waiting to order. I tipped him well as I always do since I like to show appreciation to people who work in hospitality. Our sandwiches were of much lower quality this trip. My sandwich was a mess and didn't have any meat in the last 2 or more inches. My fiance's sandwich was on bread that should have been discarded(a Reuben in the photos attached). And my son's sandwich (#20 with ONLY pepper jack cheese, pickles and mustard) had no pickles on it. I'm disappointed in this riverstone location of this franchise and I think they need to offer their employees compensation that attracts team members who care about their work. Love this place and the quality and taste of food, but I did have a bad experience there today. I did an online order and I arrived at the pick up time. I walked in and there were many people. The guy at the front said "we will get that right out for you". Okay fine, I can wait, no problem. Comes back out and states that he didn't get my order and wanted me to check and make sure that it was the correct location and that I paid. He asked what sandwiches I had and I told him. So I went and got my phone. I walk back in, ready to show him my order number and all, and he says "here's your order." I, thinking that he found the correct order, walked out the door and went about my day. Well I get back to work, and it was the wrong order and everything. The sandwich was smashed and cold. I called the shop back and said I was very upset. He said "I apologize for that and I'm sorry. Could you come back? And I said no, I just got back to my job. He apologized. But his excuse was there was a huge lunch rush. Trust me, I get it. I have worked in a restaurant before, but you also have to be efficient and work under stress. I will come back, but I...

The place was very slow and the waitress handed us our sandwiches to go and said here’s a ham ect ect and we said what no we ordered the Rubin ect ect and she said “oh that’s what I meant”. So instead of checking it out (our bad) we went to the park to find that these were not our sandwiches at all. Had to haul everyone back and explain this is not our order and everyone seemed okay with making the sandwiches we paid for except the tall girl who knew she gave us the wrong sandwiches. Even the manager said that that means the other people have the wrong order as well and to get ready to remake that order. The sandwiches used to be good but now they are just cheap uhg. 3.5 stars for the manager and short girl working and being so nice otherwise this would have been a one star because of the tall entitled child who can’t own up to her own mistakes.
