Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

I was in this store in mid January. I had gotten a coffee at a store in Spokane and they got my order wrong - way wrong. But I didn't realize until I was miles away. I stopped in here when I got to CDA intending to pay for another drink. It wasn't this store's mistake, so it didn't seem right to ask them to fix it at no charge. However, when I asked the employee to pour out the old drink, she inquired why and I explained that I had driven off and was miles away before I realized my drink was wrong. She immediately said, no, we won't charge you for the drink. This is why I continue to go to Starbucks.

What she didn't know, is that I was in CDA going to see my mom who was sick with cancer. Little things like having your coffee just the way you like it are a big comfort at a time like that. Her kindness made a huge difference in my day that day. And that's why I'll come back to this store,...

I'll be honest, I normally do not patronize Starbucks because I object to the leftist political stances of the corporation, however recently I purchased a couple lattes from this particular store which was conveniently located right around the corner from another business I was visiting. I was pleasantly surprised at the unusually cheerful and engaging manner of the attendants. They all seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves and went out of their way to greet and engage me with conversation, which I appreciate. The whole culture of this Starbucks is unlike any I have ever visited, so I give credit where credit is due. So I recommend that you check out this particular Starbucks, because you will be treated as valued and appreciated customer. You will no doubt leave with a smile...
