I Do not really like Starbucks at all. Having just a general impression of a faceless corporate machine which sells over priced food and coffee for those who have highly refined taste. I go to this Starbucks frequently because the quality of service I receive there is so high, from many of the staff members but specifically from James. I tell you that man is an incredible asset to Starbucks as a company, the level of service he gives, not just to me but to everyone who sets foot in that building is exceptional. He is able to maintain a high level of work output and quality while simultaneously bustling about making sure everyone is doing fine in his quite way. I have seen him handle trouble customers with the same level of respect that he gives to those who tip well! And, and he manages to have a bit of meaningful contact, listen to the other person and without making a rude break move on with his work all in the space of under two minutes or less. As someone who has been in management in the service industry before I can say that that is a hard balance to achieve and maintain. Because of this service I will return to buy over priced food and coffee the coffee snobs tell me is good. I will break from my distaste of corporate businesses and spend my hard earned money here. Give that man a raise and keep him...
Read moreI feel bad leaving this review, as it doesn't reflect how I feel about the service of everyone that works at the riverstone Starbucks. But after a recent experience, I had to finally say something. I usually try to avoid coming to this location now as much as possible because one of the workers (lady with short blonde hair) always makes me feel rushed and uncomfortable in the drive through. I've never seen her smile or act friendly. Ive heard others mention it too. And I understand it's a stressful job and it gets busy and of course everyone has their bad days..but every time I even try and ask her for a straw I feel like a burden that is taking up time. But just recently what upset me was, what seemed to be, a young girl possibly in training under her and she looked so upset and stressed as the lady is rushing her and telling her what to do. Teamwork is about guiding eachother and helping eachother out. Having compassion to teach others and...
Read moreThe absolute BEST Starbucks in the entire region of the PNW in my opinion! Here's why I appreciate this particular Starbucks: THE GENUINELY THOUGHTFUL & helpful staff treat each customer with individualized service. THIS LOCATION! Located near the cinema at Riverstone, CdA, this Starbucks has been a local favorite for many years, and for good reason! Keeping with Riverstones classic, Idahoan lake cabin decor, the atmosphere is very cozy, clean & inviting; reminiscent of a lake house living room. There's a convenient drive thru option for those very busy multitasking folks as well; but I would encourage anyone looking for a relaxing & enjoyable coffee, tea, or even a delicious bite to eat, to take a few minutes to go inside, get to know the fabulous local staff, and truly savor your...
