Sunset Bar — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

I kind of liked the atmosphere, but drinks seemed overpriced and way too smokey. We smelled like an ashtray when we got home. I have seen plenty of similar establishments that were plenty busy and had no smoking or they had outside smoking designated areas. This place would probably have more business if they got rid of the smoking allowed inside and not price gouged on the drinks. I've lived in Coeur d'Alene for several years and only just recently became a patron of this place. I'm a fan of dive bars and now I regret not coming here earlier. The staff is incredibly welcoming - especially Sheri who is a staple bartender at this establishment. She pours a great drink and her personality is one of a kind (frankly she's why I've returned multiple times). Jukebox is awesome and can be controlled from your phone. Free popcorn. Lived in CDA from 2001-2005 while attending Gonzaga. This used to be one of my favorite places to have a drink, and back then in my early 20s, had the best jukebox in town.
