i first saw the sign go up like a year and a half ago and I got super excited! i moved here from Walla Walla and el taco loco is the name of my favorite taco truck there (sadly not the same family). and was thrilled they finally opened. first thing I did was check out the menu online. I don't know how there are reviews on here from over a month ago when today is their 3rd day open, but whatever. i got the chicken burrito. this has grilled chicken and rancho beans, plus all the other goodies. absolutely delicious. huge and well stuffed. the red sauce has a nice kick to it. the green sauce is much milder and I thought tasted better. the burrito also had a roasted jalapeno and onion on the side. very nice touch! she got the chicken quesadilla. she thought her's was a little bland but it was literally just chicken and cheese on a bed of shredded lettuce, also with the side pepper and onion. i thought the chicken had great flavor. price point was a little higher than say Ricardo's on PF or Las Brasas. we didn't get anything else and it came to just over $20. totally worth it. for only being open 3 days i was very impressed and i am excited to try more of the menu. the al pastor was on a legit skewer rack. my eyes almost got a little dusty it was so beautiful. i am totally going to smash some of that next time. everyone there was incredibly friendly and smiling and got us...

... Droooool.. Oh, excuse me. Just finished up four of the most delicious street tacos. Ho my goodness. This is HANDS DOWN the Best Mexican Restaurant (maybe even one of the top restaurants) in the area, BY FAR. I have tried all but one (Yes. Yes, I have.), including all the different ones that have some variation of the word "Ranch" in their names. I cannot tell you how happy I am that this place is in Cd'A. Seriously. I come from a place that has stellar real Mexican street food all around where I lived, and this is the only place I have found it here. I want to cry with joy and sadness every time I go to El Taco Loco, because I want them to be my next door neighbor, but they're a whole 10 minutes away! The prices are fantastic for what you get. And they serve MEXICAN COKE! What a relief. Seriously. I have had their Tortas, nachos, Tacos and burritos. Their salsa bar is exactly what is needed, and their complimentary grilled onions and grilled jalapeños are soo good. Well, I can't eat the jalepeños, but I hear they are good. I love the shredded pork the best so far. Haven't tried the tongue or the tripe. Maybe when I'm 80. No matter where you are in the area, you will want to make the trip to come here. You won't regret it. All the other ones either are OK, not great, or terrible. I have regretted most of them. Yummy! Can't wait to...

This place was terrible!!! Definitely not what you expect when your told they do street tacos. Yes they have a salsa bar but seriously they give you the tortilla and meat and nothing else. The meat was dry very little meat if you have ever had street tacos before. When I went to go to the salsa bar the lids didn’t even fit the containers so it’s not like we could even take salsa home. The free beans they have are definitely not sanitary. And it’s not even true street style rice and beans. The kids cheese quesadilla had so much cheese on it it was disgusting!!! And grilled veggies not sure what was up with that as I have never heard of grilled veggies on street tacos!!! The nachos well, they were basically movie theater nachos and nothing more. I was so excited to give this place a try and was truly disappointed. The only good thing about this place was the lady was nice. Safe to say save your money and do...

Friendly and helped explain their menu for a first time visitor. Small but clean and organized interior. Has 3 TVs playing sports to have a bigger feel which was impressive. A lady who’s order came up before mine had some type of mistake and the guy was quick to fix it with a smile. Great service. I ordered a fish taco, shrimp taco and chicken taco. The fish taco didn’t come with anything on it but fish, wish it would’ve had at least a little pico. I added some cabbage and cilantro and Habobero salsa via the salsa bar. The guac that came with it on the side was great. The fish taco was decent. The shrimp taco was phenomenal. It has great sauce and extremely flavorful. The chicken taco was good but really dry. Definitely needs to have salsa added via the bar. Overall a great place to eat as the food was quality, you just gotta find what you like better.
