I really want to love this restaurant, but it is very frustrating to receive an incorrect order EVERY SINGLE TIME and I’m not exaggerating. I’m not one to complain and so I always just pick things off or go back and ask for a side of things (which they want to charge me for). Our family has a lot of food allergies so the last time we ordered to go, I asked to talk to the manager to place my order to be sure that our order was correct. She said “please let me know when things are not right because I need to talk to my employees if things are wrong so we can correct them.” So I did just that when I opened my order and found that it was incorrect again. When I called and asked to speak to her, her response was “there’s no way it could be wrong.” I said I wouldn’t lie and that I could send in a picture and she said we don’t give out employee cell phone numbers. Her response was awful, she didn’t try to make it right and any way…. in fact, she made me feel bad for calling and complaining when she specifically asked me to do that.
We said we would never go back……
Well, today, I decided to give them another try, and guess what…my order was wrong not once, but twice. My husband walked in and placed our order and handed the gal the piece of paper with the modifications, asking for no tomatoes and no blue cheese dressing (not hard). When I opened it, it was drenched in blue cheese dressing. So I called and they said they would correct it. I repeated my order with the modifications. When I opened the “corrected” order, this is what I got (see the attached picture). Tomatoes, but no pumpkin seeds, and next to no toppings....
Read moreWhy only 3 stars? Service. Which wasn't totally bad, but the grill was empty for 20 minutes, and it was 30 minutes before our food was put on. I understand patrons arriving before us being served first, but that was a long time of nothing. Did the cook take a break? I don't think so.
And I didn't like the super runny special sauce they use instead of cheese. This was a very messy bacon burger.
Price. Not worth nearly $17 for a burger and fries. I know just a few dollars less isn't that big a deal, but I feel around $14 is a better value. The shake, however, was worth the $7.
Positive side: Fries are great. Milkshake is awesome! So creamy, not that gritty stuff you get from fast food.
Service? yes, we were checked on, and order taking was easy, but still, an empty grill for 20 minutes?
Atmosphere: ok. High ceilings allowed for lots of noise, and loud children were everywhere (including the patio), not the restaurant's fault, but again, noise. I got to view interesting shows on 3 monitors, no cc, and my friend got to view a post. Literally, a support post. Why isn't a monitor placed from the wall view? I do appreciate the information on the chalk board that stated the origins/history, and the local sourcing. Always up for supporting...
Read moreTried this place for the first time with my little family last night and we were sadly pretty underwhelmed. When it came to ordering, we let the young lady know that it was our first time and she wasn’t super helpful and just pointed out a couple burgers that were good on the menu. The kids burger was served with an insane amount of ketchup on it, I’m all for sauce but it was a little overkill. By the time my daughter got to it, it was soggy and falling apart. I unfortunately have food allergies and ordered a burger with a gluten free bun. I will be clear when I say that I don’t ever expect to get an absolutely delicious gluten free bun because let’s be real… they’re usually pretty sad. But the gluten free bun was served ice cold, like straight out of a refrigerator cold. I understand this was probably in an effort to keep the bun separate from the other bread products, which I do appreciate, but this made the bun pretty much inedible. And paying $3.50 extra for an item you can’t eat on your plate sucks pretty bad.. On a positive note, the french fries were delicious and the...
