Updated 10.15.25: Came in for an early dinner after our Costco trip. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and were seated right away. Our server came and took our drink order and introduced himself as, Bryan. I ordered a raspberry Italian soda and enjoyed its creaminess. As for my entree, I was craving fettuccine alfredo. The white sauce wasn't too thick but wasn't watery either. It had a good flavor profile of Parmesan and a nice rich garlic kick. Bryan was also on top of the garlic bread and never left our basket empty. The ambience was pretty quiet--we definitely beat the rush as it filled up by the time we left. Service was fast and food was great! 8.12.24: First time here and when we walked in, we were greeted and sat almost immediately. It was dinner hour and our server looked pretty busy already, so it took her a few mins to greet us and take our drink order. That's expected anywhere at dinner hour. To start off, I ordered a glass of wine and my two guests had a huckleberry lemonade and some kind of huckleberry slush with alcohol. When my wine arrived, unfortunately my glass was dirty around the mouth rim. Because they were busy and I didn't want them to waste the wine, I just asked for a new glass and planned to pour the wine into the new glass myself. However, our server forgot about the wine glass and one of my guests took my wine glass to the bar and explained what happened. The bartender was super cool about it and poured a new glass entirely, which I was very thankful for. Moving on, we ordered the calamari rings and brick oven bollas for appetizers. As for my entree, I went with the seafood fettuccine and my guests had the twice baked spaghetti and the raspberry poppy seed salad. And of course, can't forget the garlic bread. The garlic bread was great and the pieces weren't too big or soggy. The calamari was good and had a typical taste of batter. The fry wasn't bad but could have been cooked just a tad bit longer. What counts is the side sauces and really enjoyed the tartar sauce. I really liked the cocktail sauce and it had a kick as I could tell they use horseradish, which I love. The mini meatball calzones were yummy and not too doughy. My seafood fettuccine was delicious. The seafood included shrimp prawns, scallops, steamed clams, and calamari tossed in a garlicy Alfredo sauce that had perfect consistency. It wasn't too thick nor watery either. For dessert, I ordered the cookie skillet sundae and another guest had the creme brulee. So really you can't go wrong with a cookie skillet sundae and the cookie was nice, hot, and gooey and the ice cream melted well with it. My guest said the creme brulee was okay and that the top was too burnt and hard. Overall, my first visit to Tomato Street was pretty good. Our server apologized about the wine glass and so did the bartender, no issues there. I enjoyed my seafood fettuccine dish and dessert and I'm thinking about trying a pizza next time.

Food was MICROWAVED, all of it, from the bread (hard spots and cold spots) to the chicken parmigiana (awful oily and soggy), to the fettuccine (flavorless and watery). The kids liked the cheese pizza. The dessert chocolate cake is microwaved and tastes like they used a cheap cake mix. The ranch tasted flavorless and sugary, like someone added sugar and garlic powder to mayonnaise and called it ranch? Absolutely abysmal, worst Italian food I have ever had and I am not picky. And the drinks were not great, I included menu pictures, it’s basically flavored vodka and lemonade mixes. If they get new management or a real chef they should advertise that, in future, as, the restaurant itself is cute and fun for kids. We needed a place to eat out of the heat and sit awhile, this was that, but overpriced for the quality. Free kids playdough, a kids chalkboard, and space to draw on the paper topped table? So much fun for all the people under age 10, and that is why it got two stars. I would go again and order only a side salad, and eat some random granola bars from the back of the car later, because the kids had fun and ate reasonably priced food. The entire adult menu is crazy prices for the food you get.

Holy amazing! My son and I made a special trip to Coeur D Alene and the event place we were going to was closed. We stopped here and Wow, so far from disappointment! This actually made the entire trip out of this world! The food was absolutely fantastic! The service from Aspen was incredible! She was so knowledgeable, so helpful and suggestive! Seriously, I WILL send my family and friends here! My son got the chicken fingers and I got the Baked Lazzoni (at Aspen’s recommendation) I was literally BLOWN AWAY!! I was able to order meat sauce on half, and Alfredo sauce on the other half! Aspen said it was her favorite version and I would love it, she was CORRECT! My son got to try his first ever Spinoni and I caught it on camera! They have an amazing Kids Chalkboard that he felt comfortable enough to get up and draw on in the short wait time that we had! Overall, Outstanding!!!! So happy we made this wonderful detour!!! 10/10 Tomato Street Cda!!! Keep it up!!!

Thursday April 8th we went to tomato street in cda to celebrate my 8 year Olds birthday. I really wish I could have given a better review because the food was very tasty and the service at dinner was nice. But my husband, I, and our 3 small children got food poisoning from our food. We know it absolutely had to have been the meal to cause us all to be violently ill because it was the only meal we had together that day. We didn't even make the drive home before we started puking in the car and were all violently heaving the rest of the night. The following day (friday) I called the restaurant so I could at least let them know, and disappointingly I kind of wanted my money back after that. The manager I spoke to was nice, however she did feel the need to tell me during our first phone call that you can only get food poisoning after 8 hours of eating. Which is incorrect, I had worked in the food industry in the past and you can get it even as soon as 30 minutes after eating, which seemed to be our case. She said she'd speak with another manager and call me back. During the second call she let me know they checked the temperature of all the food and that we just had the flu. Also incorrect, the flu has several other symptoms besides extreme vomiting and diarrhea but we all got sick shortly after our meal and had no other symptoms or fevers. In addition, you can get food poisoning in a lot of different ways such as someone who is preparing food with dirty, or cut hands, also even if the food is the correct temperature it can be expired or had gone bad. For you readers that have lasted this long, I was polite on the phone and simply asked if I could have my $102 back on the count of my children ages 8, 6, and 3 also being so I'll. She said she'd call the owner and ask. Upon her 3rd call back she told me that the owner would only give us a gift card, and that we only spent $68. I kindly refused the gift card because we won't be returning. The entire interaction I've had with the restaurant was so disappointing, and I really did not appreciate being told that I only spent $68 when in fact we spent $102. I'm sure this is not their norm but if I had to recommend anything, I'd recommend coaching on the managers part not to be accusatory to the customer, it might also be beneficial to have a refresher on kitchen hygiene and...

Today is the first time we have been back to Tomato Street since they reopened. We have always had a good experience but I can not say that for today. It started out the waiter did not introduce himself or write his name on the paper. He bought two waters with ice and I asked if I could have one with no ice. Then I asked him if could run the bread through twice for me. He said he was premade but could leave it in the oven a bit longer. I said Great. When he came to take the order, I asked what the gluten free dressing was and he didn't know. Asked someone else and they didn't seem to know either but that server at least said he could find out. Our server said it was Italian or Huckleberry dressing. The salad I wanted came with Italian dressing so I asked the server why would the gluten free dressing be Italian if the menu said differently. Basically he said that was the choices. So, I decided to order a bowl of your clam chowder. He bought the bread out and it was cold. I had to get up and take it back towards the kitchen. A sweet girl apologized and said they would fix it for us. He brought out our lunch and I asked for more water. My soup was cold. He said I just served it from the container. I replied it is cold. Picked it up with both hands and said if it was hot I couldn't do that. No apology. Went back and several minutes later came back stating the chef check the temp and it was at 145...That is not really hot. Still no apology. Said so do you want to taste before I leave? I said no it would have to do. After he walked away I noticed that the bowl had been wiped by something and there was film left. I couldn't find the waiter to ask for a clean bowl. Would you not think that if the chef (which he said it was) had dished up the new soup that he would of used a clean bowl??????Very disappointed in the service and the food. Don't think I will be going...
