I stopped by the Wake Up Call coffee on Fourth Street in Coeur dāAlene. I just used the drive-through to check it out. The young barista was super nice and took our order without any problems. She asked some good questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.
We had a drip coffee with heavy cream and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Both were completely tasty and well-made. Itās difficult to find places with heavy cream nowadays for the carnivore diet, so a location like this is a definite bonus.
Everything inside looked super nice and clean. The bottle labels were organized logically, and they had some fun Halloween decorations on the counter.
They had the usual iPad for signatures, payments, and all that stuff. Completely normal and expected. A totally modern operation.
The thermal protectors on the cups are actually really nice. Itās fun because they use an old rotary dial as a graphic. I bet none of the kids who work here have ever even seen one, let alone tried to use one. That would be pretty...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI know the cost of everything is increasing but their prices are astronomical! And not to mention wasn't listed on the menu. I never come here (usually a Jitterz gal) but I got a Mad Hatter drink with two flavors and an Asiago Bagel with cream cheese and sausage. My bill was over $14!!!!! The drink is fine, although I prefer Lotus, but my bagel was terrible. I'm almost certain it was a frozen Costco bagel, microwaved to defrost it quick (you can tell because the cheese becomes almost wet) and then toasted. The bread was "chewy" and the top so hard I had to rip through with my molars. It's also disappointing when drive thru coffee stands serve bagels with a tube of cream cheese and a knife to put on yourself - I'm driving! So you either wait until you arrive somewhere or pull over. I was mostly shocked at the price. I get my same size lotus with two flavors, parmesan bagel with cream cheese and sausage all for $8 at Jitterz. Over $14 before a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe ladies that Work here are absolutely amazing. I would shout them out by name, but I would feel horrible if I accidentally forgot one of them. Every person there treats me with respect, friendliness, kindness. They are amazing people. I highly recommend. I catch myself driving way. Out of my way just to experience the friendly smiles I get from everybody that works there. More often than not. They are the first people that I talk to in the day. And itās always a great way to start. Not to mention the coffee is far better than Starbucks as far as quality and taste. And the prices are better to. I also like the fact that day pay their people in Idaho Washingtonās minimum wage or better. Which means that you get a better employee because they are being taken care of by their employer. Iāve been going to the Cda location since they opened. And I am excited that they are opening more locations that are actually closer...
