Zips is usually an amazing place to stop and get a great burger on the go. Sadly, that's not what we experienced today. We ordered a little over 60 dollars worth of food. What we got was fries that were luke warm at best, stuffed mushrooms that had ice in the center, and a wait time that was ridiculous. After 45 minutes and getting cold food, I went in and told them about just the mushrooms, to get some that were cooked. The person at the counter looked like he just got out of bed. Hair everywhere, dirty, and stains on his shirt. When I explained that the mushrooms had ice in the center, he felt the bag and said he didn't see a problem. They felt warm. I asked for a new one, but literally had to tell him I was not ok with spending that kind of money and getting this service. I am very unhappy, and will not be coming back to this establishment. I haven't been to zips in many years and I was raised in Spokane, I thought they had the best double cheeseburgers ever and the tartar sauce to go with a fries, not tonight it didn't happen.. first of all the people behind the counter should be presentable with clean clothes not loose fitting clothes that fall down and no teeth, no judgment on dental work here but I'm watching them cook our food and no one in the kitchen look like they knew what they were doing 😱 The fries were so salty and not hot and the double cheeseburgers did not taste the same they were mediocre and the tartar sauce had no taste and it sucked. They sucked. Asked for mo salt on the fries had salt yucky everyone over salts and for people like me I cant do a lot of salt I do it for my actual health. Not to make them slower. Kid couldn't count money I gave him correct charge and a 20 so he owed me dollars but he also gave me change back 🙄. My biggest pet peeve is we learned basic math skills in what 2nd grade 3rd grade why can people not count change back without a machine telling them the answer.
